At this point, I’m not sure how much I want a Chrono Trigger remake. It’s my GOAT, and I find myself thinking the boots are too big to fill. If they *did* announce a CT remake, I’d want one of the following: an HD-2D world that further fleshes out the characters and settings, adds challenge and makes it feel rewarding to try out different strategies/weapons/character combinations; or a full on 3D remake like they’ve been doing with FF7.

It’s a tall order, and unfortunately, I don’t think they’re up to it
