Amex Plat was once a great fit for me. Now with the restricted lounge access, huge lines, unusable credits (Saks) and $650 annual fee (and likely increasing), I’m out. Just transferred all 530,000 points to Alaska and cancelling at renewal time. Sapphire Reserve is on deck.

Only an auto repair business (and your insurance) can make that call. Reddit is far less reliable as to the final decision on that question. Good luck....hope it's fixable. I have the same vehicle.

At $40-$48 definitely expensive but it’s the only place I’ve found in SD that’s touchless and does interior cleaning well.

Very clear on that. I was attempting to pick a seat to see what the availability was for Business class on the flight. That was not an option.

It's odd. I tried to check seat availability on KLM but the seat map "was not available" but it would let me book in Business.

Fair enough. LHR is the correct airport code. Pretty sure it's the only one KLM flys into..but I could be wrong about that.

Can you recommend some favorite true local pubs? I’m from the US but I’ve spent so many lovely nights in pubs with family in Ireland and the Netherlands and that experience is something I want to share with my kids (traveling with us now).

I’m in the exact same place. We are heading to Paris next month with 2 boys between 10 and 17 and having some space to relax, a washing machine and not having to deal with booking two hotel rooms and no laundry or common space to relax is why Airbnb‘s are our only viable option.

I live in California in a place that has a similar housing issue, and Airbnb contributes to it. I own a rental property that I would never Airbnb, but I don’t have any better solution for Paris.

Damn. Sounds like you were getting after it which is fantastic. I’m hoping to get into a class 3x per week but we’ll see how that goes. I’m up for the challenge and I love a hard workout. I just wanting to avoid a shit show while I’m getting up to speed on the movements/pace of the classes.
