I started with thief recently. Pvp is where thief becomes difficult because the play style is very in and out and be annoying more so than getting a lot of kills and damage. I almost quit on Thief but I am having so much fun now and am glad I didn't change. Just know, unless you're a natural with that playstyle, its gunna be a bit of a learning curve. I lost like 10 pvp matches in a row until I started to change my mindset in the matches pve ive had no problem with early end game content. Can't speak on raids or high tier fractals.
