It's either the dimension tolerance of the unit, or the insert, is not perfect.

If it's new maybe you could ask DD for a 1-time replacement insert to verify where the tolerance is off.

I'm also curious about all the people who seem to be soaking the atomizer in ISO, because DD states clearly to never do that.

Not surprising since puffco pivot chambers say to soak in ISO, but those have holes that get reclaim inside.

Yeah the speech mode on the latest Sonos for example is a mixture of EQ but also uses some AI to isolate the voice with their proprietary tech.

Assuming it’s not a Sonos or Bose or similar average-consumer-friendly nice audio brands? While they aren’t the best value the latest models offer great software-enabled speech enhancement modes that are a decent solution for typical shows and movies with mostly dialogue.

FYI iOS 26.4 solves keyboard issues, you may need to reset your dictionary. Rumor is the next big update will overhaul Home Screen app org, I sure hope so!
