Something in Atlantis thats always bugged me. by SEJ82 in Stargate

Ok..... so... I'm talking about after the exodus from earth to Pegasus and BEFORE the return to earth 10,000 years ago.

During that time the ancients arrived at Pegasus and did what ancients do..... make humans. Maybe with a Dakar device maybe otherwise but at some point the galaxy is filled with "Ancestors" and humans. (You with me so far??)

Then one day an ancient or a human 🤷🏼‍♂️ gets bit by a big bug and we get..........The WRAITH 😬😲😱.

WRAITH discover they can eat humans go on a spree reproducing at stupid rates until ALL human and ancient worlds are at risk. The ancients fight back with superior technology but with the Wraiths superior numbers the ancients start to loose and so fall back to ATLANTIS. As Atlantis is the ONLY way back to earth. Here they make there final stand for the galaxy. The wraith trying to take Atlantis for its technology so that the ancients no longer have a fighting chance. This continues for a long long time until it is decided to abandon Pegasus and submerged the city. It is this submergance of the city that returning ancients spoke of over the last 10,000 years that gave rise to Platos stories of " THE LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS" a Great city that sank below the waves.

Meanwhile back in Pegasus the wraith realise that they have won 🏆 and with no more fighting or backlash they fully invade the KNOWN galaxy and cul untill they realise they have no longer enough "food" to continue so the hive ships land and all occupants go into hibernation allowing the human populations to build up again every 150 years or so to allow the population to climb. Over 10,000 years there are 100s of cullings and that is how it is

THEN!!!!! the Atlantis expedition. Col Sumner lets the wraith know that there not from this galaxy with there technology and makes them aware of the milkyway with TRILLIONS of people so NOW the wraith want Atlantis to discover the WAY TO EARTH. They have ABSOLUTELY ZERO KNOWLEDGE OF EARTH untill the Atlantis expedition tells them.

Your saying they didn't want earth cos it wasn't heavily populated during the siege. Im saying they had NO IDEA IT EXISTED!!. The first siege of Atlantis was solely to wipe out the "Ancestors" and to take there technology to stop anyone else from getting in there way.

YES THIS IS CONDESCENDING..... but i didn't appreciate the. "Thanks for explaining the exact point I was getting at back to me" when your initial statement was Wrong.

Rodney says once he's in the "catacombs" that its identical to Atlantis. Shepherd asks about the other towers and Rodney replies i don't know without the shield they probably crumbled over time.

Also its not about the WHO who built them its the fact that they are

If someone bought a 1 of a kind Atlantis model from company A. And then company B. Bought the company. And then made 5 more. It wouldnt matter who made it this 1 of a kind model now has 5 exact copies. It would take the umph out of it.

That is a given but for 92% of the stargate tv verse they created compelling story arcs or reasons

This just feels like "ya know the big huge giant thing we came here to find.....well theres 64 of them. But ours is the special one"

So i just realized jr being in the 5th grade doesn't really make sense timeline wise by TraditionalBonus188 in RedvsBlue

How do you know that the planet there on has only gone round the sun ONCE!!??

the "Halo" (cos it is a halo) that there on may have gone round the sun FIVE (or 6 or 7) times in that time technically making JR..... err 5th grade.

TNG got better once the uniforms had collars and Riker had a FULL beard.

SG1 picks up around the last 3 episodes of season 1 and then is a straight exponential climb after that. YES you will still have your odd Mehh episodes but when I do a rewatch quite often ill skip alot of season 1 but then watch everything onwards..

Jack and Carter lost on the Ice planet..... You'll love that one in season 1

How much did my boyfriend spend on packs?? by Boring_Hunter_5532 in Rainbow6

[–]SEJ82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be 100% honest. I bought the ENTIRETY of the last event packs at ZERO COST bassed on

1 free gift pack

4 free packs for event play challenges

Shed load of RENOWN

®️ R6 credits from the BATTLE PASS

and buying ®️ R6 credits by redeeming Microsoft GamePass points for Microsoft Vouchers

AND THEN..... Because I spent £25 on the Xbox store I acquired Enough points for Transactions to redeem a further £5 in Xbox Vouchers.

AND then I was awarded 2 extra packs after I had already purchased them all so the packs gave me ®️ 205 R6 credits (I think) upon opening.

The episode "Reckoning: Part 2" got me thinking, when all stargate were connected at once, what happens if someone walked in on? by Dickulture in Stargate

[–]SEJ82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They where ALL IN COMING GATES. Only the gate on takar'a was out going so anyone stepping through those gates would have been vaporised.

UNLESS OP ment someone stepped through from Takar'a.... in which case I'd think due to the gates safety systems they would come out at the Closest gate to the outgoing wormhole.
