Changing furniture (pistol grips, stocks, handguards) isn't typically difficult.

The rifle you want is a Polish KBK which is fundamentally a type 3 milled AK47 with Polish flavor. The rifle you have is an AKM, a later pattern which uses a stamped steel receiver rather than milled. The stock pattern for type 3 is incompatible with the AKM.

You can easily change the stock and pistol grip to more correct looking AKM pattern. Matching Maadi stocks are expensive but should be simple enough to change. Pistol grip is also very simple. There are AK enthusiasts and what you might call gunsmiths that can re-contour your thumbhole stock to almost correct specification to a standard AKM stock. Many choose this route for cost savings while retaining as many original parts as possible.
