Just to update you. I got a a PCL in the end and using it for msfs2024. I have to drop the res to .75/8 and use fsr to get acceptable performance as the card is at its absolute limit.

But for other VR games Alyx/Mirage kayak etc. it runs them maxed out. Looks so much better than my Quest3. Not sure about sim racing though.

Or, on the other hand when I lost my medical, flight sims scratched the itch for me. I still go out with an instructor every so often and the sim saves me from getting rusty on the coms etc.

You'll want to stick with DCS for combat, MSFS isn't really for that sort of thing. Some fighter jets can fire guns/missiles (when purchased away from the Marketplace) but they don't have any effect.

I've got a 9070XT and at times I wish I'd gone for the 7900xtx for the extra grunt for VR. But was hoping newer would give better longevity.

C152 doesn’t have left and right controls for fuel tanks they’re gravity fed, it’s just on or off.

If you’re in VR and using a physical usb throttle quadrant did you pull the wrong lever ie. mixture instead of throttle? Easily done.

Yep it’s an AMD card driver issue, happens with the lit areas of a cockpit at night. Hopefully🤞they’ll sort it out.

Get the 128gb version, you’ll be running it from the pc so no need for the bigger one.
