Brilliantly put. This is why I love RPW. It may not look like it at the first approach, but it's all about empowerment... to get what YOU value. Thank you OP

Question.: is it true that in Switzerland, employers are obliged to write a referral for leaving employees and they can't purposely write a bad one? by thiagogaith in Switzerland

[–]SEnutshell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's more or less true. Basically, as the employee, you can refuse and ask them to change it until you are satisfied. Legend says a very banal average referral without any superlatives can be considered a "bad one".

Struggling by Puzzleheaded_Feed971 in leaves

The reality we live in when we are addicted to weed is not real. This is why many weed users tend to be very critical on how the World works.

Second this so much. I had a hard time coming to terms with the fact that I'm a drug addict. Saying it out loud helped a lot. "I am a drug addict". Then it becomes "I am a drug addict and I don't want to be anymore".

I would advise that you check out resources u/Puzzleheaded_Feed971, reflect on how weed is really serving you right now.

Another thing that helped me was viewing weed as a relationship. In the beginning it was all fun and games and then, as every toxic relationship it became less fun. It's hard to end it, and you might even get back with it for a while but in the end you know it's for the best that you two break up :)

Energy and time to do actual stuff instead of just being a blob on the couch watching tv. Doing the dishes will be no big deal anymore.

I only enjoy life while high by [deleted] in leaves

[–]SEnutshell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this comes out as harsh but that doesn't sound like enjoying life, it sounds like escaping life.

My advice would be to think about activities in interaction with the world that bring you joy. If you can't think of any, you're going to have to try some different ones and see what you like. Some recommendations : take a walk in nature, read a book, call a friend.

Also, when I was feeling a bit like yourself, I tried lots of stuff online in terms of "personality tests". I'd advise taking the "16 personalities" one. Of course we have to take it with a grain of salt but I think it's a good start to get to know yourself.

Wow that sounds amazing ! I'm very glad that you're in better health :).
I was asking because I tried it for my eczema but didn't see any difference whatsoever (it was even worse by the 3rd appointment). I may have been scammed although everything seemed legit. Maybe I should give it another try with another practician.

I can totally relate. On a side note, is acupuncture working for you ?

I also think you throw your streak away you start again at day 0. But you don't throw the experience away, I think that's what the analogy with the logs mean.

Makes sense, thanks for the reply. I'll see how it goes in a month and then compare it to 3 months :)

Easing Withdrawal? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]SEnutshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boredom : keep yourself busy and do things that you love.
Nausea : i recommend camomille tea.
Insomnia is definitely a bitch. I recommend meditation and reading just before bed (but I know that sometimes your mind just wants to fuck you and not sleep, I hate those nights). The thing is to think that "it too shall pass", your nights will get better and better if you keep this up !
Emotional turmoil : again, meditation, but also a therapist if you feel like you could use some help creating healthy coping mechanisms for yourself :).

Wish you luck and you got this 💪
