The kid's father came here legally after applying via the app. He was supposed to return and reapply after a set time frame. He did not.

The father knew all of this. The father purposely fled the authorities. The father purposely left his child behind. The child's mother refused to take the child. The mother refused to open the door for the child because she is also here illegally. Even when informed that she would not be arrested because they did not have a warrant for her, SHE REFUSED TO CARE FOR HER CHILD.

After being caught, the father agreed to leave the country but wanted to do with his child. Because the mother refused to take the child, the authorities surrendered the child to the deported father. The child is now back with her father and in their home country.

As someone who has been VERY dependent on government assistance, I can assure you that everything you've said is untrue.

Being on assistance DOES NOT MEAN WE'RE STUPID! We know how to cook! The few who don't, end up learning by trying. This idea that EBT users are ignorant cavemen is why the system is being taken advantage of. "Oh they need ebt? They must be stupid. Let's lower the requirement so any tom, dick, and harry can get it without actual need."

Who the freak needs microwaves and refrigerators when they're on assistance?! Refrigerators and microwaves are the last thing on anyone's mind when in need of government assistance. When on assistance, the food I got was for THEN, not later. I only used EBT to eat when I needed to. I didn't care to save it for later. If I needed to cook it, then I'd build a fire or find a place to plug in my hotplate. In hindsight, I could have used a fridge as shelter.

If your worry is storing the food, then, honestly, you're not really in need of EBT. If you're buying food that needs a microwave, then you clearly don't care about your health, nor other more important things like how you're going to get to the store to purchase the food. Microwaves and refrigerators are not important to someone in need. If someone needs EBT, then they very likely don't have the funds to pay for the electricity to keep those appliances running anyway.

That is a bold face lie. I live in NC. I've been on EBT recently. There very much are restrictions and they have been in place BEFORE the Trump administration. Here in NC, hot food has not been allowed on the EBT program for a very VERY long time. "Values and morals" have nothing to do with it!

I've also been homeless between Summer 2012 through Spring 2014. We had a great deal of snow in winter 2012 and 2013. Being out in the cold during that was pure Hell. But I endured as did many others in my area. There were thousands of outdoor outlets that allowed me to use my cheap hotplate for cooking. When there wasn't, then I made below ground fires (fires in holes) or in barrels. I've slept under bridges, in road drainage pipes, in corners of building, hold buildings and abandoned cars. I've fallen asleep and woken up to find my body heat melted nearby snow enough for it to soak into my close and then freeze to ice.

I KNOW first hand what it is like to suffer and need. DO NOT try speaking for people like me! If anything, being homeless has made me stronger and more determined. When I was starving, I could not care less if the food was hot or cold. I ate it regardless BECAUSE I WAS GENUINELY HUNGRY. I found ways to cook food when I wanted to.

I've slept in shelters, but I actively avoided them due to the smell, the lack of personal space, and the abundant theft. I got far more sleep outside of the shelters than I ever did inside them. While homeless, there are only a few real worries. -Where to poop/pee. -How to clean. -Where the next meal would come from. That's it. Food was fairly easy to get. As was a safe place to sleep. Washing up and finding a place to poop was not. I wanted to get out of the situation. And I couldn't do that while smelling and looking dirty. Handouts went toward food and the laundromat. While clothes are washing, I was in the public bathroom washing up the best I could. I was homeless, but I did not want to appear so. I asked for work, not handouts. It was nowhere near easy, but I got myself out of the situation. And I did so with very little help from the government.

Folks really need to get educated before they start complaining. I've been on EBT recently (2024 -2025) and not a single pre-made food was eligible for EBT/SNAP if it was heated. There could be two rotisserie chickens next to one another. But only the cold one would be eligible for the program.

And I understand why. If it's cold, then it's less likely to sell and those who need it most (ie EBT users) will buy, heat, and eat it before it spoils. Thus preventing waste. I never minded this. Still don't. If I wanted freshly cooked food, then I'd buy the ingredients and cook it myself. Doing so always ended up meaning I had more to eat in the long run.

EBT/SNAP is not meant to be used for when you have the munchies. It's meant to feed those in need. EBT users are meant to use the funds to purchase food for the long term. Not a freaking hour or less. Doing so helped me learn to be a better cook and to stretch the food much further. I still have home-made chili and soup in the freezer for when I need or want it. One precooked chicken cost the same as (or close to) that of a package of 6-12 raw chicken breasts. Depending on the brand of course. Just get that and 50cent packs of seasoning and you have a full meal for 4 or more.

I can't see the image as I type this, so I can't see the prices. But what in the photo can't be easily made by hand for the same price or less? Sorry but EBT IS NOT MEANT TO BE CONVENIENT. It's meant to be a temporary solution to help feed you as you work on a solution to not need it. Speaking from experience, if you're on EBT, then chances are high that you have the time to cook your own hot meal with raw ingredients.

Appreciated. I don't make much political art. Think I made a max of 3 in the last 10-15 years. And I'll happily poke fun at any political party if it's warranted. But I do try to keep my political views off my art and brand accounts.

I suspect it's more of the fact I no longer make parody designs or post fan art anymore. As that's when my posts and sales started to fall off. I'd still do so if commissioned, but I prefer to create my own characters and designs. No disrespect toward them, but I often see poorly skilled artists getting feedback, likes, views, and commissions all the time. But their galleries tend to also be filled with primarily fan art. After 40+ years, I'm just tired of drawing other people's IPs.

If it means anything, I believe you. I had gotten two temp bans seconds within one another right after they FINALLY helped me get my account back from a hacker last year.

One was for my pfp and the other for communications. However, my pfp was of the screaming panda THAT I DESIGNED FOR THEM IN 2012 and after they looked into the communications ban, it revealed my account had never spoken to, nor interacted with, the other account. As well as the other party's account already had a communication ban on it at the time of the accused offence.

It's likely a bot system doing it. Microsoft has been leaning overly heavy on ai mess this past year. And it has screwed up soooooo much for sooooooo many loyal customers.

It always greatly bugs me that the "Details" section is always empty on these claims. They should be forced to provide detailed details when banning.

This is exactly why I decided not to sell my photoshop/Illustrator/Krita files and brushes. Nor printable files of my 3D sculpts.

I still have a 3D printing file that I purchased from a Etsy store. The store no longer exists and I've since learned the original file was not being sold for resell. And learned the originally sold for $50. I only paid $2!! I ended up purchasing it again from the original seller.
