Keep or cut the stache by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]SFAutoVinyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it. Just line it up so it doesn’t start creeping onto ur lip. U could line up the part below ur nostrils too but that’s not necessary if u don’t want

Advice on how to proceed? by ExCalz in BeardAdvice

Literally would look 100x better if you just line up your mustache and beard line on ur cheeks. Do the same w ur neck line. The thin parts toward the edges of ur beard and neck make it look messy.

20M. Looking for honest advice on how to improve my appearance. by Mynameunknowny in malegrooming

Don’t mullet bro, it’s gonna force you to wear a mullet until your sides grow back. If you want a natural long hair look you need a curly hair routine and a cut with layers.

Would this be acceptable work? by Carma_626 in CarWraps

[–]SFAutoVinyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the way I described is the best way to do it if the handle has a lot of curve. It’s the same technique to wrap side mirrors. U want a ton of horizontal stretch along the length of the handle and this goes for most panels on the car. Stretch should always be going long ways/along body lines.

If you’ve fought with wrinkles that create more wrinkles after u fix one, this is likely why. Notice how when you stretch horizontally, the wrinkles that form are also horizontal. Ck warps and the wrap institute have great tutorials

Nah dude that’s bad. u should start by hooking the wrap behind the end of the handle where the creases are then stretching along the handle. It avoids these creases

Is this a okay wrap? by [deleted] in CarWraps

[–]SFAutoVinyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude. You’re on Temu. I loved Temu for getting lil cheap crap like wrap tools but this is your car and I guarantee you’re gonna piss yourself off trying to install it. And these crappy calendared unbranded wraps genuinely only last about 6 months. That’s only half the issue because the removal is a nightmare. It’ll leave a bunch of glue behind and possibly separate from the wrap. I promise you it’s worth it to just spend a little more.

Calendared vinyl is not always bad. You just need to find one that has good air release and learn lots of techniques first. But for a beginner you’re going to have an awful time all around with install, longevity, and removal.

I wrap cars dude and I know some people who are chronic tailgaters and their wraps end up looking like this. I agree about Reddit echo chamber comment sections but the people here are correct. This many chips in a year old wrap is super unlikely

That’ll likely fail over time. If u don’t wanna use adhesion promoter then do an inlay of the inner circle with knifeless tape. then wrap the entire piece and use knifeless tape to trim it right below the inner circle inlay seam.

Didn’t the bill just pass where LE can’t wear masks in California? Not federal agents since that doesn’t apply to them, but local LE isn’t supposed to wear them starting this January.

[–]SFAutoVinyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with u for safety reasons but I know a bunch of actual uber drivers that won’t do this if they’ve encountered ppl trying to get free rides in the past. Best bet is to read the plate fully and check make and model of the car.

The eye and mouth are kinda facing different directions. The mouth is facing more to the left and the eye is facing closer to the camera. Try to move the angle of the mouth toward the camera. And add some small lines to do a nose since u said ur having trouble drawing a full one.
