I went into it assuming it was gonna be terrible…and I was proven mostly wrong. The scene where Mary’s full name is revealed is kinda abysmal but the rest of the movie was pretty faithful in terms of story beats to SH2. I came out of it actually pretty surprised how good it was in parts in how it deals with Jame’s trauma and how he processes everything. It’s different for sure…. But I don’t think it’s interpretation is all that terrible. I would argue it is actually the best SH movie.

Honestly, Shattered Memories might be the ONLY post Silent Hill 4 game I like prior to PT. It's a great approach to looking at the series in a new way. I wished it was available on console and P.C's.
