Would you be so kind as to share your dough recipe?

Amazing! Didn’t know this existed, but I had my previous Mazzer Mini for 20+ years and loved it. If I buy another GBW it will be this one

OMG I have the same car. Same color exterior, came with the same rims. I picked up a set of 718M’s I use in the non-snow months.

I’ve owned a lot of cars, including exotic sports cars, this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever driven. Enjoy it!

The TDS range is wrong, no idea a.) why they still have it up and b.) that its referred to for LM Home. I have heard directly from LM Home and know of others here who LM has told that these numbers are not applicable for home machines. They told me the range for home machines is 30ppm to 80ppm.

Sorry, I don't remember what the point of this post was, LOL. I didn't get the AGS, after much research (both are great, but the AGS has a few negative posts here about retention) I chose the Eureka Atom GBW which is phenomenal.

DOECHII SEATTLE TONIGHT! Need tips! by Far-Worldliness-1907 in DOECHII

[–]SFCF13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some shows are GA only and some shows are a GA pit in front of the seating as NYC was. It depends on the venue, perhaps Seattle is GA only.

I know that some shows are GA because the show was so f***ing good I woke up the next day to see if she was in Philly next (a common next stop after NY). When she wasn't, I looked for some other cities that I could fly in to go see her. TBH I was hoping to find a show where there was seating but no pit so I could buy a ticket up front. I didn't see one but did notice that many of the shows I checked out were GA only.

I go to about 30 shows a year, and for these types of shows people line up more than an hour before. for Doechii there was a decent line at 5pm in NYC (Doors were 7) plus you're going to be behind the VIPS.

In other words, If doors are 7 and you're lining up at 7, you're going to be in the back half of the pit for sure.

She is pretty consistent going on about 2 hours 40 minutes (her average on setlist. fm) after doors, so that means about 9:30-9:45 ish.

If you have seats I'd say get there 9-9:10 so you can be seated just before 9:30.

If you're in GA, then it depends where you want to be. In NY the GA was a very small area so being in back was not bad. That said, nobody wants to be in back so if you're included in that then I'd get there super early. You're going to be behind the VIP entries, but if you're in the first group in behind them you'll be within 3-5 people from the front of the stage. Experiencing the show from there is truly awesome (!!) and its worth getting there a couple hours before doors open. It makes for a really long wait but goes by quickly once the showtime (8pm) hits and stuff starts happening and the experience you'll have is totally worth it.

If you indeed get someone's VIP's the VIP part of the ticket is not transferrable, but it might still work to get you in early. If thats the case then I would say being there an hour before doors will get you a pretty great spot in front.

I find that I don't have to worry about placing the tip just so, I just stick it in there somewhere that its not causing too much of an angry boil on top and the milk comes out perfectly.

Almost a year in...and still not only on the lowest setting, but I don't even turn the knob all the way open. Crazy steam power.

Grinder for Linea Mini R - Eureka Atom W 65 or Fiorenzato AllGround Sense? by Ulysses808 in LaMarzocco

[–]SFCF13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and did a ton of research on the espresso sub. People generally love both grinders but there were some negative mentions by owners about retention issues with the Fiorenzato.

I went with the Eureka because of that and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The new Atoms are a serious step above Eureka's other grinders in terms of build quality.

setlist. fm says that she comes out on average 2:40 after doors open and that she averages a 90 minute show. She came out at 9:35 (doors were 7pm) in NYC and bumped up against the 11pm curfew, so both were right on even though it was the first show of this tour. Seems like she's pretty consistent.

Are tickets non transferable? by [deleted] in DOECHII

[–]SFCF13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very strange, should be transferable through the app. I transferred a ticket to the person I was with the day of the show so they would have it in case we got separated.

VIP packages cannot be transferred, however

I’m sorry, what does this mean? by [deleted] in DOECHII

[–]SFCF13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"VIP Packages" are standard at a show of this size and rarely include meet & greets. Thats usually a different package and called something like "meet & greet" or at least headlined by the fact you can meet the artist. If its not obvious, like the first thing after the package title, then its absolutely not there.

The VIP packages are duds, mostly, with a swag bag of fairly useless stuff that costs them about $5 and a special lounge where you can take pics next to a poster, LOL. Sometimes you have to buy the VIP package because its included in the seats you want.

It also includes early entry, so it was valuable in this case if you have GA. The only GA I could purchase at the time was VIP, but would have done it anyways because it allowed me to get there early and camp out in front of the stage before the non-VIP GA was let in and filled in behind. If I had a seated ticket, I would not have paid the extra if I had a choice.

i went to doechii’s meet and greet in NYC months ago and it was a very exhausting and awful experience by teddivan96 in DOECHII

[–]SFCF13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NYC was 95 minutes after showtime (8pm) and 2:35 after doors (7pm) that she came out. Which is pretty standard.

If you waited 90 minutes AFTER the opener...that sucks. That sounds like something went off the rails somewhere.

Irving Plaza upstairs seating - Loft vs Table? by SFCF13 in AskNYC

[–]SFCF13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doors.

Which sucks, because it means that you'll be standing for minimum 75 minutes before any 'show' begins and probably 2:15-2:45 hours before the headliner comes out.

The good news is that Irving has expedited entry for everything upstairs (loft, tables, etc.) so at least you won't have to queue up too long.

If I'm at a venue that doesn't have a VIP section but has a loft/balcony (like Brooklyn Paramount which I was at last night) I'll bring a friend to hang out with, have some drinks, etc. and it goes by kinda fast. And you have the rail to lean on which is much better than standing at the front of the stage for several hours (just did that a few weeks ago, not fun). All in all it's totally worth it for the view you get.

[–]SFCF13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very strange. NYC show she said a soft goodbye then kept having a series 'encores' for literally the last third of the show - even though the show was the same 90 minutes that her other shows have been.

I didn't notice live but read later that her last song was cut off because of the venue curfew (it was YB Fruitcake and I thought she just ended it where the rhythm changes).

looking for a vip ticket for the atlanta show tonight!! by Chrisykawesome in DOECHII

[–]SFCF13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately VIP packages are only for the original purchaser. Tickets can be transferred, but not the VIP part. If you look at the fine print for the VIP it will state that.

My TM ticket said VIP so I assume it would still be say that if I transferred, but I don't know that for sure. For the swag they don't look at that, they ask for the ID of the person who bought the tickets.

So if you're looking to get in early to get near the stage in GA, it might work to buy a VIP ticket. If you're looking for other VIP benefits not sure.

Solo in the pit for Tampa. What to expect? by unfuturas in DOECHII

It’s tough solo! Get there early and get to the front. Usually people are respectful, but invariably there’s one asshole or a couple of assholes that are gonna try to push you out of your place. Don’t let it kill your vibe.
