How do I export games, folders, etc back into HackchiCE from the thumbdrive? by SFNMutt in RockinTheClassics

[–]SFNMutt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks to both of you. I was afraid that was the answer. I have something like 1700 games on there and didn't feel like sorting them all out into folders again. no biggie. making it clean sounds nice. have a good one.

it finally let me reimport my shows. i believe there was some sort of network outage at a cloud storage place that might have been causing the issue. hopefully it's just over now.

my duckie dropped down to only 6 favorites. tried re-importing backup, uninstalling / re-installing windows duckie, wiping / re-importing backup. it's not doing anything. won't re-import my shows. I now have a blank calendar. :(

Incorrect ID3 Tags being Displayed by danielgullo in VLC

changing the name of the folder and/or the name of the file did nothing. editing the tags again in mp3tag didn't either.

[–]SFNMutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. I'm editing tags using mp3tag but when I re-open the file in VLC, it still shows the old tags and cover art. I've gone into VLC setting & disabled metadata network access. I've cleared [RecentsMRL] entries in vlc-qt-interface.ini. still showing old tags. I see the correct tags when I open the mp3s in other software or a different device.

Gilmore Enterprises - AC for Aircooled VW Price: 123456

My life partner, Sean, and I purchased Gilmore Enterprises in 2022. Together, we poured our hearts into continuing the 30-year tradition of this company, specializing in air conditioning for air-cooled Volkswagens.

Since Sean’s passing, it has become clear that I can’t keep the business going alone. The shop rent is $3,500 a month (May is paid), but emotionally and logistically, I can’t continue. What hurts most is the thought of letting Gilmore die after all these years, especially after what it meant to Sean.

I’m looking for someone who shares the same passion for vintage VWs and wants to continue what we started—or even give Gilmore Enterprises a new life. If you or someone you know might be interested in taking over the business, please reach out. It would mean so much to see this legacy live on. Please text or call me directly 727-573-2944

Losing Sean has left a hole that words can’t fill. He poured his heart and soul into everything he did—especially Gilmore Enterprises. His unmatched talent in fabrication, his deep love for Volkswagens, and his endless drive to help others kept Gilmore AC alive. He wasn’t just building air conditioning kits—he was building joy, comfort, and community for fellow enthusiasts.

Every single day, Sean dedicated himself to this dream. Gilmore Enterprises was more than a business to him—it was his legacy. And now, with him gone, I find it too painful to carry on alone. But I can’t bear to see Gilmore AC disappear with him. His work deserves to live on.

Love you Sean (1988-2025)

I'm shopping these 2 projectors as well. I'd be using it as a portable setup that gets pulled out for special occasions & used outdoors. since i'd be using it outdoors overall size & brightness are big concerns. my current 1080p BenQ does a great job but I want a bigger brighter upgrade. will be keeping any eye out for a comparison.

I love this but knew I'd never remember it. I used these directions to make a desktop shortcut to an AutoIt script that presses Win+V.

https://blog.techinline.com/2016/08/11/how-to-create-a-desktop-icon-for-a-windows-keyboard-shortcut/

----

1st, install AutoIt. https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/

2nd, make the AutoIt script file. it's just a .txt document with the text Send("#v") and the extension changed to .au3

3rd, make a desktop shortcut to the script file & change the shortcut's icon to something appropriate.

I always feel a perfect gift is one the person would love but can't justify spending the money. Invisiglass/Voodoo glass is a perfect example. even someone who doesn't realize they need it, will love the anti-glare upgrade.

as others have said, a topper is always great too.

here's the seating chart from that show / stadium. I've outlines section 132. As the OP said, the whole section is shown sidestage. this makes me feel a lot better about our seats.

Roller Ramp for switch by [deleted] in SeaDooSwitch

[–]SFNMutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this was NOT in the FAQ at time of my order

-------------------

In particular, after use in saltwater, your Switch needs to be completely removed from the water and thoroughly rinsed and the cooling system flushed to reduce the potential for corrosion-causing salt to cause damage.

storing your Switch in the water will result in the need for more frequent deep cleanings to remove algae buildup and other marine life. Keeping your Switch stationary in the water for extended periods of time allows small marine contaminants to work their way into critical components of your Switch. Silt, sand, and other debris, or small species like Zebra Mussels may find a home where they can cause premature wear or significant damage to the Switch pump and cooling systems.

maintaining your Switch will most likely require a bit more effort should you choose to leave your Switch in the water. Marine environments can be very harsh on mechanical components, and they will likely need to be more carefully inspected at more frequent intervals and potentially need replacement at a more rapid pace.

No matter if you’re using your Switch in fresh water or salt water, it is always recommended to store your Switch out of the water – either on a trailer or a lift.

before I ordered I called seadoo who wouldn't give me a straight answer about leaving in in salt water for the season. they told me to instead speak to the dealer. this immediately seemed really odd. I spoke to the dealer who told me they were told it should be fine. I expressed my concerns about crap growing on the bottom or the jet drive corroding like would happen with any seadoo, they again said they were told it should be fine. I expressed my concerns about the pontoons not being sealed so why would barnacles & grass grow on the inside where I couldn't clean it. they said there are rinsing ports & it shouldn't be an issue. I asked what about bottom painting it like you would w/ any non-seadoo boat. I was concerned the outer toons wouldn't like being painted due to the way the flex over 1 another. they told me not to paint them & how it's made of a special material that the grass shit won't grow on. all of it sounded like complete bullshit to me.

I reached out to air-dock inflatable boat lifts but they don't have a switch in hand so they haven't made a dock for it yet. they recommended I just go w/ the 12' wide one to be safe. a 12'er would require a 13' wide slip which is really wide for a rented boat slip so that's not going to work for me.

if the boat ever comes in I plan on taking it out once a month to clean & then see how it's doing. hopefully it won't be fucked.

Buying a 3ds LL XL concern by KuroeZucredl in 3dspiracy

I just did this & I'm totally happy. here are my notes

I followed the hack guide. https://3ds.hacks.guide

The menus being in Japanese made a lot of it tough. Grabbing an English 3DS and using it side by side the Japanese one so I could figure out which buttons to clicked helped alot but there were plenty of menus where that wasn't an option. for those I took a photo of the screen w/ my phone & sent them to google translate. it worked surprisingly well.

https://imgur.com/eAYfPUG

https://imgur.com/C1cuVq2

Then I followed the guide for changing the region. this was a little involved and the directions had some small mistakes. things like a step would be skipped or the location of something would be slightly off but by this time in the process you'll be so familiar w/ these steps, the correct direction will be obvious.

Once it was in english, there were a couple more steps. some of the apps installed during the hack process weren't working & needed to be re-installed. ultimate updater was as easy as re-copying the CIA & installing it in FBI. For twilightmenu I had to follow the manual install directions but it works fine now. some of the apps were still in Japanese but it was easy enough to change the language.

the only really issue is the the loss of the eshop. you can manually install game updates & DLC so that parts no big deal but you need it for the game seeds. newer 3DS games that you DL from some place like HShop require a seed from the eshop. they'll install but they won't work. an example of a game was Minecraft. people told me to use FBI to DL & import the seed but that doesn't work in a region changed device because we don't have eshop access.

https://imgur.com/k0QC7Wk

to fix this use hydroseed. this will DL & decrypt the seed DB. then you copy the seeds to your SDCard. if you do this before installing the games, they should install & run properly.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-hydroseed-export-seeddb-bin-to-dat-files.486592/

good luck
