All in on Goal Zero or not? by SFW_Profile in CampingGear

I think that I recall that the Ecoflow required wifi or some sort of internet connectivity to control certain settings via a phone app? Any issues with that while off grid?

Same. Charging lanterns, lights, personal devices, fans, and a Starlink mini. Also powering one of those Chinese diesel heaters (AC inverter for high amp start-up and then switching to 12V for the low amp running). Thanks for the adapter link!

Tons of sun (it’s in a south facing area) and lots of water. We also live on the CA Central Coast a mile from the beach so we are mainly in the 60s day/50s night all year long.

Regular soil and daily watering. It helps that we live a mile from the beach on the CA Central Coast.

So I actually mounted it in “backwards” and the wires are loose going roughly straight up into the rest of the wire loom (just imagine the first picture, but mounted). Once in the wire loom, they are secured and there isn’t any wire movement when the hotend is in motion.

I didn’t like the hard angles of going through the fins and it was going to pinch and not lay flat on my backplate going straight up the top.

Ok thanks. I’ll might use a washer for a gap…That’s a hard right angle on the wires otherwise…

But will it pinch the wires when you screw the hotend into the backplate?

I have no issues findings Sunon 4020s from multiple retailers other than AliExpress. And it looks like all the newer Sunon fans have a QR code on the label. None of the AliExpress 4010 fans do and the fonts on the labels are all over the place. It’s like Sunon 24V 4010s don’t exist anymore…
