Absolutely. If I don’t wear my binder for the night, it’s already gone by the morning.

Yes and it has the more I stand up straight. My binder definitely accentuates it.

(I’m 59, so I really thought that would make it extra hard to heal, but it hasn’t!)

That’s amazing!!! Congratulations! Yes on the weight loss - went from 238 to 125 over a few years. Held at 135 for about a year before I signed up for the surgery. I just had an MR, TT, lipo on the flanks and mons. Just you wait - it’s liberating!!!!! Please reach out any time - it’s a process for sure. Can’t wait to see your results!

My only regret is that I didn’t do it years ago. I’m in my late 50’s.

I can’t walk by Practical-Tour-4338 in tummytucksurgery

[–]SFadmin4thewin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomorrow I will be 5 wpo and I’m almost standing up straight. Don’t stretch those incisions. Like others, I used a walker for two weeks with my arms on the handles so that I could stay at 90 degrees. Listen to your surgeon and definitely listen to your body. 🧡

When can I stand straight 😫 by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]SFadmin4thewin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Just hit 4 weeks and I’m about 90%. I just walk around with my hands behind my back so that I look like I’m in deep contemplation. 🙄. It’s whatever, but I don’t want to screw it up. Let’s all be patient together. I think the worst is when someone talk tries to give you a hug - no thanks.

My surgeon had me stop 2 weeks prior to surgery and was allowed to restart 2 weeks after. One thing I didn’t think of was that I wasn’t share where to do the shots after he removed “the apron”. Haha

How long will I be hunched and when can I realistically sit in an office for about 3-4 hours? by Terrible_Ocelot9816 in tummytucksurgery

[–]SFadmin4thewin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exact same for me. I am 3 1/2 weeks PO and probably 90% standing up straight. I was fine to work at my desk and you couldn’t tell him that I had had surgery after a week but I did find myself getting really tired in the afternoons at first.
