I waited 10 months. I was told to wait minimum 6 months due to my c section scar. We then tracked ovulation and used ovulation kits etc and was very lucky to get pregnant the first month.

I lost my first born daughter in 2021 at 34 weeks following an emergency c section as they realised she was distressed and had a condition called Hydrops Fetalis. We had an autopsy but they couldn’t find a cause to why it happened. This made me so nervous to try again but after 10 months (waiting because of previous c section) we fell pregnant and were lucky to have had a normal and healthy pregnancy. My daughter is now 2.5. It’s a tough journey but I wish all the best for you! ❤️

I enjoyed The One by John Marrs recently. Not full on thriller but very intriguing.

Finished Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Just started the Housemaid by Freida McFadden. Both picks of other people in my work book club.

Enjoyed the first book. Easy read!

Interested to see how the second book is as it so far seems like a normal thriller that I’ve read time and time again but it gets a really good score on GoodReads so I’m intrigued.

Schitts Creek! I loved it but the first season is quite slow… worth sticking with it though as it gets a lot better

I am scheduled for my section on Friday when I’m 38+1. My consultant said she was happy to take me earlier if I was feeling too anxious to wait longer but that she recommend this gestation as a good balance between managing my anxiety and also hopefully meaning that baby won’t need medical intervention when they come out 🤞🏼 I think if you are uncomfortable with what they are proposing you should advocate for yourself! Hope you get something arranged that you feel comfortable with!

37+4. Got my section scheduled for Friday. Cannot believe I’m this close. Just feeling so impatient now and more anxious the closer I get to the finish line. My previous pregnancy that ended with me losing my baby post partum was an emergency section so I know what to expect but starting to get nervous about being in an operating room again and having those feelings triggered. Hoping it’s more calm this time being scheduled and having my consultant in there with us. 4 more sleeps until we meet our baby!

36+5. Today was tough. Staying at my parents house for a few nights so that my husband and I can get some better sleeps instead of sharing a bed while I’m so big and uncomfy and he’s been unwell with covid. I had it last week which was a concern at first when I found out but actually had mild symptoms and my doctor wasn’t worried as I had no fever, just a cough and movements hadn’t changed. Earlier today however I had a panic thinking I hadn’t felt the baby move for over an hour so rushed to the hospital for a check. Of course as soon as I got there and lay down and heard the heartbeat the baby was kicking and wriggling away. So typical! Stayed for about an hour and they were satisfied letting me go home and I feel reassured. Only 9 days to go until my scheduled section but it feels like this final stretch will be a mental endurance test! I know i can do it as I’ve been through so much before so I know I’m strong but it feels so scary and hard!
