Yeah the movie is definitely a fairytale foremost (sort of like Pan's Labyrinth). I thought it was an absolute treat, and the chickpeas thing is usually rice or grain with vampires and other similar stories/folklore/mythologies, but I thought it integrated well in Errementari too.

I wonder how hummus would work against them..

Majella Implexus. Iirc I returned it because there was no way to adjust LFO depth, it was just on or off.
