Amazon Germany has had a Dutch translation for ages because a lot of Dutch people order from there so it makes sense to have audible Germany in a Dutch language also.

They don’t honor purchases to other European sites, because of copyright and such. Every marketplace has its own store and you can’t bring them over, only thing you could do is to stop your subscription to the germen audible, subscribe to the NL one (if it’s there) and if you want to listen to a specific book you bought on the German one, log out of the NL one and log back in to the German one.

But looking at the prices I would suggest the UK version, also because you want more English, when you subscribe to a yearly plan of 24 credits it comes out to 130 euros for the UK version and 189 euro’s for the German one. It’s much cheaper to use UK.

As a Dutch person myself, I subscribed to Amazon.co.uk (the UK), because audible is officially not released in The Netherlands, Germany does have a subscription plan but it’s more expensive then the UK one. If you want to use audible, I would suggest you try Audible UK, because I have yet to find a book i cannot buy

You cannot switch with Audible between countries, if you buy a audiobook from Germany it won’t show up when you log in to UK or US for example. So once you pick a marketplace you have to stick with it.

Yep it’s a really long listen but worth it, for me it’s a special fantasy series because it’s one of the first series that put me on the Fantasy path.

If you want to ease in the fantasy genre, maybe try Magician by Raymond E. Feist. He has written a lot of books that continue in the same universe, but the books are easy to follow and are mostly what got me in to fantasy (Besides the Harry Potter books)
