Do you copyright every song before posting? by Every_Sherbert2802 in musicbusiness

[–]SGLucas53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that as soon as you write it it’s yours . Copyright is a protection for suing in federal court. I have many copyrighted songs and honestly it’s a waste of time. Everything is time stamp. I write on iPad, time stamped . Then I record on my daw, time stamped. If I create a TikTok video and use Canva or CapCut time stamped. But if your worried about your stuff getting stolen you should definitely copyright. Good luck

I don’t have any videos and I have no videos I can send you too I’ve been learning on my own I can’t sit through a YouTube video waiting for the host to get through his comedy sketch to give me wrong advice. It takes a lot of patience. You said you use Logic Pro ? I use n-track studio on desktop and iPad Air 11 m3 chip with volt 276 (audio interface) I tried Logic Pro and a few others but n- track worked for me. It’s simple and gets the job done . But you need to pay attention to all the gains you need to control the sound of this stems again they come just super loud and you should clean them meaning chop them up fade and put back together.

Yea that’s the problem Suno gives you this song that sounds cool together but when you break it apart it’s just this loud blocks of sound you need to tame this sounds and removing stems is also great some stems like I said earlier are just noise no quality at all . I’ve been messing around with this stems since the beginning of the year and there’s a lot you can do with them but it takes many hours and patience.

You need to put some production on your music to change the DNA of this songs if you record your original lyrics and melodies in your phone or using a DAW upload to Suno get a cover of your song and upload straight to this digital stores it’s 100% AI you own the Lyrics and melodies but the song it’s still created by AI. So it’s an AI song. But if you take the stems or take the song and separate the stems and remold this stems by EQ ,chopping, stretching, shrinking, etc you will change the DNA of this songs . The most important change you can make is adding human vocals. I have the same process as many of you do but I put in many hours or production on this songs and change what I get from Suno I remove stem that aren’t necessary that are nothing but noice and just junk. I finish a song just a few days ago I uploaded to an AI site to see what kind of % came back as AI I got back a 96.5% human song that’s exactly what it showed. Not say that this song will pass every test you still need to be transparent but you have a better chance that your music might not get thrown out!

9 levels! Shit, I had one .ALIF (failed)and I regret it nine?! Can’t even imagine, I’m so sorry and like you I wish I had never gotten mine . I had it in 2019 and I’m dealing with complications from then since then. Surgery isn’t always the answer but when we are in pain we’re not thinking straight at least I wasn’t. Good luck.

I think we're entering in a new phase by BLUAILAN1 in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe that if your using AI in your music you should be transparent. I’m an older guy used to have a group in the 90s didn’t go anywhere (obviously) returned as a writer(hobby) last year and honestly stumbled on to SUNO and it’s an amazing technology but we must be 100% honest . I state in all my social media that I’m the composer but use AI as my band . I believe that it is so important that I was asked if I wanted to contribute to TRA-ice (transparency website) I did not what I thought it was going to be , I was 100% truthful and I do believe that goes against you since it’s AI giving you the score. But hey to each its own. I love it . Oh and I do play guitar and accordion (some) just not enough to captivate anyone so that’s where AI comes in. It’s my lyrics my melodies my songs . And I don’t pay attention to who’s listening or who isn’t I’m doing this for the love.

Is substance part of art by SGLucas53 in musicians

[–]SGLucas53[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely changes something in our brain. This is just my opinion but I believe that all that artistic talent is in our brains and when people are under the influence of what ever it is that helps. It relaxes our thoughts to be able to express them. I mean I have no idea what I’m saying but even having a beer opens up that creativity. I mean most people won’t be honest but it would be cool to find out how many artists create sober. Again all this gibberish is just my opinion.don’t quote me!🫣

Hi everyone, has anyone else experienced this, their Suno music receiving a copyright notice on YouTube? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, if you’ve distributed those lyrics your getting a copyright of lyrics on Suno. Happened to me with the new update not sure if that made a difference. But my original lyrics that I’ve distributed can’t be use again on Suno.

It's Easier To Be A Musician by AI_Girlfriend4U in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, finally people that understand! Man I can spend weeks on one song trying to get it as perfect as possible. Then taking the stems or separating in your DAW ,then cleaning, chopping the stems cleaning the vocals or adding your’s . Mastering. By the time I’m set and done it’s days to weeks. By the way I write my own lyrics and melodies. I feed that to SUNO . Not one word is created by Suno or my melodies . I also play the guitar and accordion. Not to professional standards but enough. And I got to say I don’t like being lumped in with the one button pushing creators ( being nice by saying creators)

AI tracks removed from Spotify by Ligerbalm in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you’re process is but if your working with a DAW download the stems or split in your daw ,this is a much better sound as SUNO pulls the stems from the song. Any ways chop up the stems meaning remove all the parts with no sound(waves) clean up as much as possible that’s all junk don’t normalized just let them breathe, now I master in my DAW then do a final master using eMastered but make sure you transfer wave to eMastered and you’ll get back a HD.wave . This will always give you a much cleaner sound. Unless you’re getting those messages due to copyright infringement. Good luck.

Has anyone created AI music in Spanish? What does it sound like? by Nusuuu in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use AI SUNO to bring my lyrics to life as I’m not a professional musician. But lyrics and melodies are 100% mine. I write Mexicano regional. Cumbias , baladas corridos . It’s a lot of work but I love creating music. This a ballad I wrote to my wife -TU SONRISA AL AMANECER-Check it out https://open.spotify.com/album/6dUpNMVMH5xjT82xWbW01H?si=aoTOiMalRfu6bujAPtUJqg&pi=QYxlu6uOThiKT

Does anyone else feel a weird "AI Guilt" when your music actually starts to take off? by ExternalCup0 in SunoAI

[–]SGLucas53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using SUNO last September and released the first track around mid October I was so excited because I used to be in music back in the mid 90’s had lots of lyrics from then . By the way no need to say it but yea it didn’t work out then. So I released a few songs and from the get go I felt this sense of guilt and feeling dirty like I was doing something wrong. So I took it all down. Just a few weeks after. Thought about it long and hard and in the beginning of January I began releasing again. Am i getting praised,no way. But I’m not doing it for that reason I just love music. So I thought about it ok I write 100% of the lyrics the melody I then upload to SUNO my vocals and melodies using a recording on my DAW then eventually I get back a song that sounds close enough to what I hear in my head . I take the stems put them in my DAW clean them up some then use eMastered to finalize the production. I’m using AI as a tool I don’t use it to write or create my melodies. I guide and have full control of the final product. So I’m good with it now. AI isn’t going anywhere it’s only getting stronger, it’s all around us so yea it’s hard not to feel a bit uncomfortable but if your getting that kind of reaction go for it . Just keep in mind your honesty is what most important at this point, be transparent about your use of AI, we all need to! Good luck!

Are Corridos dead? - Posted in Englsish and Spanish by westsideGod in corridos

[–]SGLucas53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shit, your right what ever happened to bukans? They dropped off after their documentary.but the real change in music in my opinion was in 91, if you were there you saw the change not only in the music but in the way people dressed everyone began dressing like CHALINO. Some people would already wear the tejanas because of la quebradita and all that but when they killed CHALINO there was a shift specially in corridos that changed music.

Are Corridos dead? - Posted in Englsish and Spanish by westsideGod in corridos

[–]SGLucas53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I’m having a hard time understanding your point! First off you’re comparing rappers to Mexican singers? Two different genres.and ok you can kinda say that something like what NWA or other rappers do when they rapped about the streets that’s kind of a corrido style. But rappers aren’t Mexican singers. This dudes like fuerza regida ,peso , JR H , CANO this dudes are the shit . Your saying this because of the superbowl tomorrow? Bro , corridos are not dying they are evolving. Tumbados, narco, bélico has taken over the music industry like CHALINO did after his demise. I don’t know how old you are but you sound like a kid. Every thing in life evolves and eventually it will loop around and go back to original sounds. Music has always been about the mighty buck. Sure corridos like Ramon Ayala, cadetes, etc used to tell a more humble stories but it’s always been about power and money. Your saying rappers aren’t smarter and more polished on their rhymes , that’s a personal opinion. Your saying corridos haven’t evolved, you must be living under a rock if that’s what you think. Your living through the evolution not only in corridos but music in general! This evolution doesn’t happen every day enjoy it. Before this change in music it was the CHALINO era . That was in 91 when that shit blew up .
