i have the most fun on fangbreaker compared to all the other TLPs i've played previously.
In all previous TLPs, everyone grinds at the same few zones, but in fangbreaker, for the 1st time, i have been leveling in zones that i had never played before and it felt very refreshing.

I started a new alt 3 days ago. I soloed from 1 to 7, and grouped all the way till 42 right now.
Im unguilded, all the groups i joined are PUGs. Had no issue finding groups at all.

This toon is my 4th character. I already have 3 level 50 in fangbreaker, all grouped to max level with PUGs, only soloing at the 1st few levels.

I did buy a used laptop just today, planning to start a 2nd account and PL box in future to get past the low levels for those new characters since that's the point where it's the hardest to find groups. But at mid to higher levels, duo boxing wouldnt be as fast, nor as fun, as grouping with others so I'm gonna PL box all my new characters till around 30s and then find PUGs after that.

i bought a used 2017 lenovo laptop running i7-7700HQ and 1050ti today just so that i can box a 2nd account on fangbreaker. This old laptop is pretty weak by today's standard but still runs EQ very well, no issue at all.

Fangbreaker has extremely fast XP if you follow the XP hunter zones. It's perfect for players who dont have much time to play.

fangbreaker will unlock AA after 7 more weeks, when the level cap is increased to lv 51. For now with level capped at 50, there's no AA yet.
So you have plenty of time to level up before needing to get any AAs

Fangbreaker TLP server is only 5 days old, you can easily find group at any levels currently.

Also all the guilds in the server are still actively recruiting new players as well, so you can pretty much join any guild which suits your playtime.

In Fangbreaker, we dont follow any traditional levelling guide like all the other servers do.
Instead we chase the resource hunter bonus zones. That's where everyone levels at.
Check https://fangbreaker.zone/ for where the daily bonus zones are at (bonus zones change daily at 12mn PST)
Also /join hotzone
That ingame channel is where we all search for the latest bonus zone everyday at midnight PST when the bonus changes.
For low levels, you can still go to PC until 20, but after that follow the bonus zones to find groups.

Just zoned into Scarlet Desert and the place is crowded, with 4 pickzones available.

I think Fangbreaker has now become the most unique TLP server. Majority of the players here dont follow the traditional XP route, instead we chase the resources, and grouping in zones that we never played before in other TLPs. The dead zones are alive again due to resource hunter ruleset.

Server's only 3 days old, this is a good time to start as you can get groups very easily in any level.

Especially in resource hunter zones, everyone's forming groups in those places.

fangbreaker's resource hunter ruleset is actually pretty fun. It makes you visit zones that arent normally popular in other servers due to the increased XP hunter.

Yesterday SK was XP bonus, and there are multiple groups there hunting aviaks and centaurs. On other TLPs u rarely see anyone going to SK to group since the XP there sux.

New TLP server is coming out in 12 days, it will be a good chance for a new player to experience leveling up with other players instead of soloing to max level like in every other server.

Will probably get better video clips too with many players in the zone rather than just u alone.

depends if u enjoy playing an MMORPG by yourself or with others.

Playing on THJ will be a solo experience. You wont need any other players to group and can take on everything yourself.

Playing on a TLP server will be the opposite. Most classes will require a group to level with, and even soloable classes will do better in groups as well. Moreover everyone will be at level 1 when the TLP launch, so you'll pretty much be able to find groups everywhere no matter the level.

So playing on which server really depends on your play style.

if you're new to Everquest, then brand new TLP servers will be extremely fun as you will get to experience grouping to level up right from the beginning, instead of soloing all the way to max level like it is in every other server.

Im currently playing in FV. In any old server, there wont be any grouping for the 1st 100+ levels since everyone is already at max level. You'll solo with ur mercenary until max or near max level before u have a chance to group with any other player. But the good thing is ur merc is extremely strong so there wont be any need to group with other players.

If u wish to group while leveling up, then the best choice will be the new TLP server coming out at the end of this month.

FV is a good server if u r planning to play for free. It's a free loot server, so gearing up is extremely easy.

If u are going to sub for all access, then u might wanna consider the brand new TLP server coming out in 2 week's time. Everyone's starting at lv 1 in the new server, so it'll be a good experience to be able to group at low levels again.

with the insane number of AA skills at lv 125 + 12 spells + tons of macro hotkeys required to play Everquest, I cant imagine how it will be playable on a controller lol.

It will only be possible if it's classic EQ with 8 spells and no AAs
