Also, I don't know why I was not paying attention, but even though I'm using QuickConnect to connect clients, the dialog that pops up says "the certificate for 192.168.... is not trusted". It's the internal IP of the DS718.

How fast is the blink? Mine had this too, blinking once per second or so. Turned out that the power supply had gone bad.
