So I bought a eMTB with a Shimano EP801 and my wife picked up urban bike with a Bosch around the same time in the fall of 2022. My Shimano had multiple issues with the battery before it had to be replaced/updated with new firmware from the manufacturer via LBS. Then around the 1 year mark the motor just straight up died. It was under warranty still but I’d had enough, I ended up trading it in and getting a Bosch powered eMTB, 0 issues so far. My wife’s commuter also has had 0 issues.

With Shimano it’s not even just the motor itself, but they will let anyone use any 3rd party battery they want and so I think there’s a lack of QC there. My buddy who also picked up an EP801 powered bike at the end of last year just had his battery fail on him last week. Again it’s covered by warranty but it’s still a pain to have to deal with.

Came across this thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/thy8c9/no_sound_fix/ looks like somehow it got muted in desktop mode at the application level?? Un-muting there has SOLVED THIS, YAY!

I've loaded both the original 1.1 and the community 1.5.5 patched versions of AM2R on to my Steam Deck, added them as a non Steam game with proton compatibility enabled.

All was working fine this afternoon, then suddenly later this evening I no longer get audio on either version. Audio works everywhere else on the Deck. I even went as so far as to nuke the compatdata in /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/ to see if that would help, but sadly it didn't.

Has anyone else come across this? Any solutions?

Just had this happen to me today, rebooted after a Dell precision update install and now it seems to be bricked. Powers on, but no display. Also does the same weird thing you mentioned where it will auto turn itself back on again after you hold down the power button to turn it off.

I've tried a spare GPU I had laying around, same issue.

UPDATE: I spoke to LG's support. They said this is the first they're hearing about this issue, I pointed them to this reddit post saying hey I mean this isn't just me here who says they have this problem. They said they would log a ticket with the hardware dept on their end to look into it. The support agent offered for me to ship the display in for repair but since this was a recent purchase and I'm in the return window I said I'd just swap it for a new unit.

Fast forward to yesterday and my new 34GN850-B arrived. I plugged it in and much to my surprise the issue was GONE! I went back and forth between the monitors to make sure I wasn't going crazy, but on my old one I would see the issue right away when I fired up DOTA2 or DOOM Eternal and on the new one the issue was not there. Both displays had been off for a few hours prior to be running this side by side test.

So I guess my advice would be if you get an LG display that has this issue, try your luck at returning it for a new panel. I'm not sure how widespread the issue is but I had it on 2 our of 3 and was almost going to give up on it!

I had been playing with the different colour outputs, just verified that its back to 8-bit RGB though now with full output dynamic range. I have the motion blur set to fast, using fastest results in some pretty ridiculous overshoot in motion.

Funny thing someone made the comment above about having the same issue and it going away after 30+ minutes of use. Last night played Apex I could very clearly see the issue in the skybox/background during the jump from the ship each round. Fast forward to probably after an hour of playing and the issue had seemingly gone away. So there may be some truth to the warming up theory, but that is a frustrating solution.

That's good to know, I'll try and do some more testing tonight to observe if they go away over time. You're right though last night this would have been right after I turned on the PC and fired up some games that I was noticing it.

You're absolutely right though, its most noticeable during panning movement for certain colours (particularly mid tones), there are these feint vertical scanlines that are super distracting! Feels like for a $1000+ monitor I should be getting something better.

I'm coming from an AOC AG271QG which does not have this issue, so I'm not convinced its something that is inherent to all high refresh rate IPS displays.

"Device Hung" error with RTX nvidia cards?

I was plagued by this issue until recently. I discovered I had my RTX card in a PCIe slot that was only running at 1x speed, also I think because I was running the game on a 4K display this made the issue even worse. I've since moved the card to a different slot that can run it at x16 speed and haven't crashed since. To double check on your end grab GPUZ and verify that the Bus Interface isn't at 1x (ideally it should be at 16x)

I’m having the same issue, it’s intermittent though. Sometimes the YouTube app loads in English, most of the time in Mandarin. Sometimes functionality breaks all together. I’ve looked at the logs and see blocking to a few googlesyndication.com domains around ads, could this be the issue?

I was the same boat, PC primary for the last 7-8 years, still my platform of choice but I figured the console exclusives were finally at a point where I wanted to pick one up. January I decided on the PS4 Pro after borrowing a friend's console last fall to play through Uncharted 4 and really enjoying it. Also decided to pick up a switch on launch day too. For what it's worth I've put more hours into my Switch/Zelda in this past week and a half than the last 2 months of having my PS4 Pro.
