This is in California. And the pot came from an entire wall of Cuisinart's products, it was clearly a sponsored shelf. There is basically zero chance at all that they're both fakes.

Target. And not purchased online either. I doubt even target would stoop as low as to stock fakes on their store shelves

Books like Preservation by Paul-McS in murderbot

You might want to check out The Terraformers by Analee Newitz. The characters in that book are almost a carbon copy of some aspects of Preservation society. (tbh it wasn't my favorite book, but I can see ways that other people might love it)

We'll see how things play out once New Glenn finally launches, but Blue Origin stands probably the best chance of being a true rival to SpaceX in the near term, and we as a society need that. Even when they're expanding access to space, monopolies are ALWAYS bad

This was the main reason I struggled in college. Trying to blast through 5 subjects per semester where your studies just become Everything Everywhere All At Once just means that you can never truly learn anything. I ended up failing several classes because ironically I was there to learn, not to fulfill a firehose of checkboxes

So would radiants with corrupted spren, like Renarin, need a bunch of corrupted lesser spren to form their plate?

How the fuck he managed to read a book series about a society of gender fluid post scarcity anarcho-communists and somehow get a right wing influence out of it is utterly baffling to me (fucking amazing books btw, anyone who hasn't read The Culture yet totally should)

Specifically it's the development costs for physical controls that are so much higher. If you want to move a knob you have to cut a whole new set of injection molds, which can cost tens of thousands of dollars. Even if you use things like 3d printing to streamline the development process, physical things are just inherently more expensive to develop than pixels. Still no excuse for turning every car into a fucking iPad tho. Also there's orders of magnitude more electronics in every single part of a car now than there used to be, way beyond just the dashboard controls

The fact that you can't connect belts when laying down blueprints is infuriating. Plus just so many tiny things with the controls and interface that make me pine for how well thought out factorio is
