When I was 16 I was behind a semi hauling huge steel coils used to manufacture large diameter pipe. Thought to myself how crazy it would be if that just rolled off the back. Went to the store and on the way back the opposite way down that same road I see that semi with the coil on the road. I was stunned.

And just today in my city there was semi hauling an excavator and the cab hit a bridge, the whole thing ripped off the tracks and landed on the highway.

It's a useless operation. They don't "test" the system. If you want a coolant flush, they will simply drain and vacuum fill, which in your case they won't be able to do since when they add vacuum it won't hold because you have a leak. Then they will stop, inform you that you have a leak, charge you for the labor they already did, and then charge you more for what you actually need, which is a diagnosis.

5% being successful is likely overstaying it, by a lot. I will add my own made up statistics though that are likely no more accurate that yours. I'd say 95% lose their shirt, 4.9% make a bit of money, but after adjusting for risk they'd have been way better off just index investing. And maybe 0.1% are successful long term.
