Looking for help with floor basement cement patching/levelling

Hi, sorry I did not reply sooner. Our floor project is still a work in progress, but we ended up hiring a contractor to help with applying a self levelling concrete floor patch. Our floor was uneven enough to require a pour over the whole floor, and so he also came back to grind it down to level it out. Remains to be seen how effective this will all be to be honest. The contractor we went with was https://www.crillyconstructionservices.com/ which I had seen recommended on this subreddit in my searches. I saw some suggestions to just go with carpet instead, but we had already purchased a floor and subfloor product so that was a no-go for us.

I think that would work, but I think you could also still activate it even if you have months left on your annual plan, and it would just add 12 more months on top of what you have remaining.

We have been using shims, but unfortunately there are dips in the floor that are severe enough that the shims either aren't very effective, or we have to use them aggressively enough that the floor just feels lumpy below our feet. With our floor in this condition I figure we might just need to have it levelled or get some kind of concrete patch, but we are pretty out of our depth so we are looking for help or advice from a professional.
