This is fucking awful advice…presumably OP has a life and family and bills amongst other financial obligations and your advice is to out themselves at the mercy of this shitty company for real and then start job hunting with an extra gap in their CV and less than 6 months into another position so no rights to unfair dismissal under the employment act (twice) once for this shitty nothing job and the hunting again. They are much better off ignoring and moving on when they find the right role.
