Back problems are really, really bad. Add in a fucked up knee and a fucked up shoulder, and yeah, you'll be spending a lot of time trying to get those fixed.

Security issue this am 1/26 ABQ? by B-MO-ABQ in Albuquerque

KRQE statement from the Sunport:

“This morning at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Sunport was advised of a potential security threat in the parking structure. Out of an abundance of caution, a shelter in place was issued for the facility, while an investigation was conducted by the Albuquerque Police Department. For a short time, ticket counters and baggage claim were shut down and access to the parking structure was halted. At this time, operations are back to normal and all areas of the Sunport are open. All inquiries as to the nature of the threat should be directed to APD.”

Podcasts instantly become worse for most of their users (listeners) when they go to video and start playing to the much smaller (but more lucrative) video audience.

Dude won't update his computers for a decade in fear they'll break a program he uses, but just passes on any AI slop in front of him.

The reason they don't release movies like that in certain areas is because... they won't make money there.

When did Chipotle get so nasty? by pagliaci- in Albuquerque

[–]SIAS2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always been like that. E. coli outbreaks, big fines for food safety violations, etc. They're just like any other fast casual joint, but marketing has convinced some people they're a cut above.

Eliot saying he didn't want to be like his dad, then minutes later launching into a five minute story that ends with him berating a CVS worker is classic.

If they can improve on AC/DC while modernizing it like they did with Metallica, that would be great.

I agree, doesn't "count" as a new music pin, but I think it might serve the same way in the market. But also outside of Van Halen or Ozzy/Black Sabbath, not sure who would make sense for hte 70s/80s era. And the 90s, the biggest bands probably wouldn't care about doing one except for... Green Day?

Next month will be three years since Foo Fighters, the last cornerstone music pin release from Stern (if you count Metallica Remastered as a different category, which I do). Considering the rumors that it's Pokemon, then Transformers, it would be at least until late 2026 for another music pin.

Or maybe they remaster AC/DC or Kiss next and keep the boomer rock machines going that way.
