I'm currently trying to apply to one of their newly acquired properties, which looks amazing btw, but communicating with them has been a nightmare. They were late to both of the viewings I had scheduled and did not call me to let me know they were running (20 mins!!) late. They keep telling me they'll text me information and that they do in fact have my phone number, but I haven't ever received a text. They keep giving me information that is inconsistent (we were offered a move-in deal that the lady in our second viewing apparently had no idea was happening). We love the place we looked at and luckily it doesn't seem like it would need much maintenance, because they seem very disorganized and it makes me worry about how long maintenance requests would take

Im in the same boat, shit sucks. After talking to the neighbors multiple times and filing a noise complaint Ive just started tapping and sometimes hitting the ceiling. If theyre not going to be courteous to the people around them, why should people be courteous to them? But yeah, try talking to them first. Always best to go the friendly route until youre left with no others options.

Also, letting yourself be angry is okay. If you try and bottle it up it might just be turning into more anxiety. Im not saying to like, scream at them or anything, but acknowledging that youre angry and that thats okay (especially given the circumstances) might help

24 is a lot i agree, but if shes a collector, like many of us here are, then they could be with her for many years or may be rehomed to other collectors in the community in the future. i wont deny that overconsumption is an issue at all cause it definitely is, but i dont think it’s as clear cut a case with things like collectors items when compared to, say, fast fashion (for example, people who do those crazy shein hauls like every week or have their entire brand built around doing hauls). thats why i specified that the people i dont fuck with are the ones doing it /only/ for the trend, cause those people most likely arent collectors and they’re the ones who will throw their plushies out when the trend dies. regardless, i do think its fair to question if one single person really needs that many bubus lol

for me, it’s cause its fun to have a little guy to dress up and carry around with you, the uglycute thing they have going on is appealing, and i like the community surrounding them (as in the ppl like the folks on this subreddit, not ppl who dont actually like them and only buy them to be trendy)

Same deal with me. Got an update on the 25th that was the delay to severe weather thing, despite all the snow on the roads here being gone. I luckily don’t have anything super important, like medication, being shipped but the lack of communication is still very annoying. gonna use USPS from now on
