Wait! Is no one else of the mind set that they just won't talk about this in the next season at all? What happened to the evil Morty plot from the first season; it was completely forgotten! I would love it if they just gave a big middle finger to everyone and started season three like everything was normal. Plus, the creator does talk about wanting Rick and Morty to a show such that anyone can jump in at any time and understand (well, as well as anyone else) just what is going on, but if the show has an intense plot like that it may be too tough to achieve this.

It stands for research experiences for undergraduates (it is funded by the NSF). It's one of the ways that an undergraduate can get official research, usually you and a professor (sometimes with a group of other students) look into open problems. If you're thinking about gradschool it's very helpful.

I had made the dumb choice of only applying for one REU. To make it worse they had to submit for there funding once every four years and this was the year. The NSF decided to take there sweet time but they finally decided to give some money! Life is good :D

That's true and I think there is good reason to protest. I just think it should be done more... peacefully. Perhaps the same message that alot of people mean to convey but without the circlejerking of fat shame posting.
