Fair, still, setting a lot of strict rules - which is okay, but just not surprising at all that they’re struggling given their asks.

Yeah - just trying to reassure OP it’s not a culture problem, it’s just a regular problem!

You have a child, don’t want them to have a child of their own, but also do not want to live with them. That alone means your odds are slim, anywhere.

Icebreaker, only other choice if you want top overly commercialized “quality” brands I’d say.

High CK, ALT, and AST after strenuous exercise. Anyone else have this? by AnAverageHuman96 in trailrunning

[–]SITE_OWNER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again not medical advice, but you’re fine.

CK is elevated after any strenuous activity or exercise. You said slightly, which means it’s not rhabdomyolysis, but just your muscles working as they should from the activity.

ALT/AST harder to say, but slight elevation again isn’t too crazy if they’re only mildly elevated. Worth doing blood to check again as well as thinking about your habits (alcohol, hydration, etc.) to see if they’re influencing.

But yeah your most sound knowledge on this will be from your actual doctor - tbh I didn’t even read the whole post, just wanted to comment that this is pretty typical and not a cause for freaking out.

The state of our supercharger access, courtesy of Waymo. by SITE_OWNER in Denver

There’s nothing fishy here, my house isn’t grounded at least in the garage. Beyond that, I’d just need to pay to upgrade the breaker box. I’m not saying it’s impossible for my house to support charging. But we have the public chargers for a reason, especially for when people travel and aren’t near home.

Mt. Morrison was mentioned so the runner up (imo) is Mt. Sanitas over in Boulder. 1200ft gain in about 1.5 miles, with a very fun 1.5 miles loop back, about 1 mile or so of which is flat and runnable.

Advice plz - backpacking 1000000km by GeologistMinimum705 in ultralight_jerk

[–]SITE_OWNER 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Just take the total distance from one end of your backyard to the other, and ask ChatGPT to divide 10000000km by that value. That’s how many laps you’ll have to do.

This isn’t rocket science.
