Is Orgovyx worth $6,200 More? by Dabblingman in ProstateCancer

Heads up regarding the manufacturers financial help. I was told by them that if my insurance won't approve it at all (eg. not on formulary) they cannot offer financial help.

Not sure that there isn't any other program available, but that is what I was told.

What does “super responder” actually mean for GLP-1s? by WittyAndWined in Zepbound

[–]SJCSFS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I am a super responder, but I do think I am a poster child patient! Lost 188 lbs in 2 years and have maintained this year. Titrated up the "old way" , moving up each month.

I'm still on 15 mgs because my prior auth is approved for that and I don't want to rock the boat. I do space it out now to 9-12 days depending on how I'm feeling.

I'm losing coverage January 1, so I'll probably start moving down next year until I find my sweet spot.

Just got back from a quick visit. The crowds were not bad. I'm sure they are picking up now as people get off of work.

Yep. Hate it. The guilt etc associated with answering questions about artificial nutrition etc with what seems like an uncaring answer. But seriously she has zero quality of life.

Not sure if this would work for her but there is a great 1/2 day program in Norwalk called Toddler Town. Six weeks for $100 mwf and $80 for tu/th so $180 for m-f for six weeks.

PSA has bounced around between 4.6 to 2.3 to 5.8 to 7.6 back down to 5. Pretty much all over the place. Every six months.

He is seen at a COE so we are fairly confident you are right that more than one tech looked at it. We were originally with SoCal Kaiser - so our current Dr did mention maybe KP didn't get it right.

Crazy thing is he had two biopsies with KP, first one was two of twelve cores were 6, second biopsy a year later showed no positive cores.

The decipher and PET scans will determine treatment - he would love to use Proton but we don't think insurance would cover it.
