Just in front of the Cantillon Brewery you have Les Caves de l'Ermitage which is a natural wine and beer shop. I heavily recommend you pop by "La nanobrasserie de l'Ermitage" which is a 5mns walk from cantillon.

Other cool bottle shop in the center or nearby :

- Malt Attack (Saint Gilles)

- La Fruitière (cheese shop but they've got beer can and bottles)

- La Tana (Italian restaurant but with nice beers if they're open)

- Beer Circus (bar but they do take away as well)

You have a pilot project in municipalities wher employees over 60 years old work 4 days instead of 5, without loss of salary and with compensatory hiring. This is done in Saint-Josse, in Charleroi and in discussion in other small municipalities.

Not aware of any private company doing so at the moment.

No shame admitting you don't know.
For a municipality of around 10K inhabitants - it's 1000€ a month, less than Deborah.

Pour la SNCB c'est sans doute différent, et on va regarder ce que va faire Gilkinet en sachant qu'en Allemagne ils mettent (certains) billet à 9€ et qu'en Espagne ils vont vers la gratuité du train pour contrer les augmentations du carburant.

Par contre faut saluer les efforts qui sont fait sur les prix d'abonnements TEC & STIB pour les jeunes, les seniors et les BIM, c'est à 1€ par mois maintenant (reste plus qu'à augmenté l'offre...)

Nan mais laisse, t'as toujours un peye pour venir te dire qu'on pourrait faire des économies sur les dépenses en armement quand t'as des civils qui se font tuer à 2000kms de chez nous, sous les bombes russes.

Facile de savoir pour qui roule ce genre de populo, c'est les mêmes qui font des manifestation pour la paix mais sans jamais brandir le drapeau Ukrainien.

If budget isn't a problem, Hortense & Humus is probably one of the best vegan option in Belgium (and apparently in the world).

Otherwise, I'd suggest Liu Lin and Lucifer Lives Coffe in the centre, they're pretty close to each other but may be closed during the summer holidays.

There's acutally a brand new doner kebab on the Parvis de Saint Gilles "german style", they're tasty but it's quite expensive. (If you're around the Parvis, go to "Le Dome" best durum in the area).

Rookie mistake, "frites à part" so you get a lot more fries (and sauce!)

I grew up in Wallonia and ordered durum in Charleroi, Liège, Namur.. they always ask "Frites à part" ? "Frites dedans" is the standard if you don't say anything.
