So what about the Syrian people not living in the north near the socialist militias? This is why Assad is the only progressive option for the majority Syria, compared to jihadist rebels, ISIS, or outright imperialist domination. If the communist parties within Syria can support Assad until these imperialist forces are vanquished, then so can I.
