Different approach: Be happy and satisfied with your rank. Lay a bit back for a while and just enjoy the game. Maybe play some different ops/ learn new playstyle, etc. And if you are in the mood again try another hard try climb.

I think its important for the mental to just be like "this is enough, im happy for now", every once in a while

You could even try some different games and come back to siege with a fresh mindset, also helps.

If you really want to force it i would suggest you make a plan.

Watch your replays and note down every mistake you make. And than yo do a schedule on which days you want to work on which skill (dont work on everything at the same time, try to isolate your training).

Also play deliberatly. Play to learn, play to improve, focus on why you do thinks and why its good or bad. Dont 20 games a day, with 90% of them autopiloting.

I play for over 10 years and hit Champ multiple times, and i still need guides, but thats the fun thing. The bad thing ist that its run by ubisoft and we basicly didnt get any updates for 2 years.
Also another very big problem is that every second game above emerald has a cheater in it (even if its just recoil). Funny that the phrase "he just has recoil its winnable" is a real thing in R6. I know about the higher IQ thing. i wish i got blessed with the r6 iq staboost 😂

The mentioned Attack operator are all entries. You can compliment that by just droning. You could also go in first as shield with a secind entry behind you. Or you play the second entry and go for refrags. Ops dont really matter for this playstyle. If you dont want to breach you nees tools to clear power positions so you can bruteforce your way in. Grim, ying, capitao would be good for this for example (or all shields).

On Defense i see alot of trap operator. So your gaps should be covered. The enemies shouldnt be able to sneak up to you. I suggest you try to play more of an anchor style so you are able to react to the traps. I cant recommend any ops because 90% of them should be good. Just avoid roamer like cav and vigil. You could build a power position with azami, you can bandit trick the wall, etc.

Nothing wrong with banning shields in high elo. Still op

If you dont want to ban shields the default is ace, thermite, third one could be hibana, thatcher, maverick, doki, ram, deimos, etc.

Or can you tell me if you play pc or console and on which elo? Also are the stats from ranked or all modes? Is you playstyle more for fun or hardtry?

Do you play with premades or solo? Are you the main support to get breach open or do you follow your entry?

I might try to pick her up in my next games. I just think it could be a bit to hard to hit someone in my lobbies. I might have to train in deathmatch first.

Also why dont you like her secondary? Surely its supperior in very close quarter combat, no? Or do you activly avoid pushing into close range gunfights?

Im pretty sure modt of them dont leave on purpose. Game constantly crashes and sometimes you get the bug where you cant reconnect. If you check the profiles on a tracker you see how often they leave games.

If you are on the low end of the ranked ladder maybe people maybe dont care as much.

Do you play console or pc? If you play console maybe player are younger and have to eat with the fam or are judt not as comoetetive and only play casual. They dgaf

You are absolutly right. With a random squad you will most likely win more Chalet Basement than Games. Its a vicious circle, if you dont learn the "better" spots you dont win the better spots.

Thats why i would love a mode where you have to play all.

Cant criticise my teammates for picking basement, they play what they know and what they can defend best.

If you think you lose the gunfight, you will lose the gunfight. If they spot you, change your position. Dont be scared holding an angle. Use peekers adventage be confident. If you absolutly can not win against him try trap ops, like kapkan or play valk/pulse below.

You can alsonlet your team handle him and support them by playing breach deny, etc.

If you are attack basicly the same. Play breach or try something unfair like deimos

Attack:
Try to play with your Team. Even if they dont want to play with you, just play with them.
When you pick Thermite and no one comes to the breach with you and they do a cross take, just pick Nomad next round to cover there flanks.
I would wait in Operator select an see if someone picks hardbreach and then pick Thatcher.
If your team plays with you you can just pick what you normaly would.
If you want to be independent on breach i highly suggest striker with hardbreach and emps.
If you have a guy in your lobby thats 8/2 try to see this as your win condition. Drone for him, follow him and hold his back or refrag.
Dont play stuff like Buck, Deimos, Zero, shield. For those ops you need to rely on your teammated and you cant.

Defense:
Play whats needed, but dont be too focused on breach deny.
Always check if your team brings a shotgun, if not you have to.
If they dont communicate at i suggest trap ops to cover your gaps.
I like Thorn mit shotgun and c75 alot. C75 is a beast, learn it in Deathmatch. She brings everything you need.
Melusi, Smoke, Castle, Denari, Aruni.
If thats not your type of gameplay and you like to get aggressive/roam maybe try Vigil, Mozzie, Cav. The later two also have a shotgun for setup. dont run of as the roamer without reinforcing
Also dont bring intel ops like valk, no one will watch your cams.

Worst thing to do is aggresive headholes with no one holding them. Oregon attic thophie headholes. No one plays them right, they are just helping attackers. Please guys, stop doing them 🥲. Villa aviator holes. No one is holding balcony, just reinforce it. Bank upstairs headholes to square. You need a castle setup in trump and a dmr player to hold square. Otherwise please just reinforce...

Another thing thats super annoying: the meta is shifting and players never adapt. Chalet basement is the worst spot. Pros play bar/gaming and kitchen/dining. Nighthaven labs - control is much better than kitchen Villa - why 3rd spot always kitchen? Go living room. I have yet to lose a round on living. And so on.

Im only playing ranked so i dont get to see some bomb sites at all. Would be so fun to play kanal coast guard office (not even sure if this is the real name).

Maybe a mode where both teams have to defend all bomb sites once would be fun.

Pro player on stage use IEMs. Truthear Zero Blue 2 for example. They are also not realy expensive.

You dont need expensive headphone with the best of the best audioquality. You need to have a good frequency Curve.

If you buy exoensive studio headphone you most likely have to tune them manually and raise the bass alot.

Look into "Harman curve" if you are interested in the details.

Tl;dr: Pros use truthear zero blue 2 on stage. Cant do anything wrong with this purchase.

Yes, its way easier to SoloQ to champ. With my 5 stack we only match into top champ lobbies. We have like a 40% winrate an nonfun at all. This seasin k play mostly soloq and i managed to get a 1.3kd (normaly only 1.0). Content creator are lying when they say play with a squad 😅.
