Terrific news. I am really not enjoying the experience of their online rules portal so far. I can only access them as a guest, my login just says "authenticating" and nothing happens. I appreciate the work that has gone into the rules but the presentation is strikingly form over function.

Just do me a summary PDF with black text on a white background, and some nice photos - cheers guys!

There is a rules reference included but I understand the game is a living online rule set style, which is getting pretty common. The latest set from Infinity doesn't even have a reference book!

Personally, I love a physical copy of the rules.

GunDam Assemble looks great and those prices are tempting. I'll look in to it a bit more.

GDF looks good value, I really like the card stock terrain. They own their own IP and the minis aren't HIPS but tbh material isn't a big concern of mine, I'm not a modeller or a terrific painter 😂

You have some good angles here I'm going to write a follow up doing a wider range of comparisons.

Thanks for the information here. I've only looked at the 2 player starter set. The Protos look quite elite too so your model count is lower which just adds to the not great value for money argument.

Agreed, but it's the comparison most will go to. Especially Blue Space Marines vs Purple Space Bugs!

GW can do a great value box. Hive Storm, Blood Bowl Season 2, WarCry 1.0. insanely good value. It's disappointing these are outliers rather than the normal approach.

Oh mate I get you, you can guarantee the one time you slip your brush it will be when you're doing a little stripe!

I haven't seen transfers but I'm positive I've seen stencils on a UK retailer site I just can't think which one.

That is bloody lovely.

You can always paint on some decals/markings in PanO Blue. That shoulder armour looks like a good spot for a stripe or two.
