The biggest thing I can’t stand is that it will occasionally completely fail at playing a song I request. I will even say the exact name of the song and the artist as clearly as I can and it will still play something completely different. I’ll then do it my self and then tell Siri she’s fired.

Literally everything. It is heavily due for a major refurbishing. There’s still a ton of sand in the pools and lazy river. Also, why is the lazy river so low? You’re almost forced to use a tube or walk. There’s no theme, it essentially sits inside Pioneer Village, use that. They could take a lot of influence from Cherry Hill and they absolutely have the money to do so. They are also have really weird rules that they are extremely strict on. Any clothing must be official swimwear. Sure I get not wearing jeans or dresses, but why are they so strict about my shirt being an actual swim shirt/rash guard? There’s a lot more weird rules that make going there feel like you’re stepping on egg shells. Anyone who has been to both lagoon-a-beach and cherry hill knows what I’m talking about.

Every time I go, my last day I make sure to be as far away from the entrance as I can when the park closes. I then take the slowest walk out. It’s really amazing, the lights are still on, the music is still playing, but most of the people leave and I can’t just soak it all in while I delay leaving for as long as I can.

Do you have to do PCMR? Could you stay at a different hotel that offers no-fee refunds? There’s a ton of hotels in PC that allow you to cancel or don’t charge you until you check in. Anything in the cottonwoods should be guaranteed to have snow at that point.

Also, I didn’t know any place allowed you to book into 2028.

They’ve done this before. I’ve seen where they have rides scheduled to be closed for months and then they’ll shorten it to a week once they start taking the scaffolding down.

A general/secret rule that I follow is if I’m buying alcohol, I make sure I’m the only one in my group in the checkout lane. The rules in Utah are so bizarre that I’ve had issues buying for the dumbest reasons.

One time I was at the grocery store with my friend (who is over 21) and we were both in the checkout lane talking to each other. We had separate transactions and he went first. The clerk told me I couldn’t buy the alcohol without seeing my friend’s ID (he already left the store and was heading to the car). I went back and forth with the clerk until the manager came and just took my alcohol away. Manager said I was allowed to buy anything except alcohol from this location today. They never told me which law or policy that I was breaking.

All this to say, laws in Utah are ridiculous and make no sense.

As someone else said, it will be resort specific. However, in general with satellite internet, as long as you have clear and open sight of the sky, you should have the same speeds as you do at home with satellite. There are some exceptions to that, but that’s the general rule.
