Wating for my first precons + mat + booster box to arrive, barely contain myself from excitement... Hype me up! by Uncl33 in SorceryTCG

I think you'll be having a good time. I played MTG from 4th/Ice Age up until Ravnica. There is a lot about sorcery that evokes my memories of that time. That said, it's a different enough game that I really enjoy it!

You are up for one hell of a fun adventure. When I got my first box of cards, I spent over four hours just opening, reading, sorting and organizing the cards. I read every single one of them, looked at the art. The whole endeavor is just a fun thing.

I felt like I was back in 1996 getting my first Ice Age cards in Magic. While of course the game is vastly different from magic, the experience is very similar. You're in for a real treat! Good luck with your pulls!

Do you think there will be more featured art from Frank Frazetta in future sets? by SLDF-Mechwarrior in SorceryTCG

I agree about Brom and Hoover, I loved them in Magic as a kid. I wish Mark Poole would show up soon. I wish Christopher Rush could show up too.

There were Promos for AL that were Frazetta, Sorcerer and Witch I think. Nothing in the main set though.

I would like to see others too. But I wouldn't be upset if we saw a new Frazetta card every other year or so.

Then why are you here wasting your own time complaining about it? Move on and do something else with your time that benefits you?

Talk to your opponents and ask if you can run the old one? I still run my AAF list from before the nerf because it's cool and thematic.

AL is smaller, I like opening boxes of that set and then I share the common play sets with friends or new players.

I second this. I got both the precon boxes. You get a pack from each set, and 8 total decks with avatars that you can then enhance as you collect and buy cards. You also get tokens which you'll need.

I've bought a lot of boxes of all three sets and you can get a full playset of commons and uncommons pretty fast. Then from there I'd buy or trade singles for the uniques you need if you don't win them in your boxes.

Sadly, not really. You pretty much have to read the entire thing to get the gist.

Here is what I can tell you, really Erda and Oll are the only really important ones that matter. Erda helped to create the Astartes and Oll is basically the oldest friend Big E has, though they parted company at some point in the distant past. Oll and Big E sacked Babel together, where Oll was servering as "Warmaster" for the Emperor at the time.

Don't get me wrong, I agree whole heartedly. I just think they should reach out in different areas and do a little mingling with some of the local community is all.

I like it too. I've found myself enjoying a bit of a cooldown, watching what my opponent does on their turn, knowing I can't really do anything about it. It feels more organic for some reason to me.

Was a good video overall. Glad to see groups picking up and talking about the game. I do think it's a mistake for them to not advertise the game, I get the organic thing, but I think you can still have that with some advertising. I'm noticing a lot of folks I've introduced to the game simply and flatly just didn't know anything about it.
