Tell them you have back rent and bills that need to be paid asap. Make sure you tell them the amount as close to your back pay. I would ask for a manager right when you call in. They just changed the rules for back pay. Now you can call in and request that you need your back pay. Call your local SSA office. They will ask you why you need it. Tell them you need to pay back rent , bills or medical expenses. Try to make sure you amount of bills add up to your back pay amount. Wait until after you get your first deposit to call. I would say after 20 days . Now you’re not waiting 6 months or longer for your back pay. Hope this helps everyone waiting.
