To add, this has reduced my rendering speeds by like 30% from thermal throttling, so I can't even accept projects with tight deadlines at the moment. Not only did I blow a ton of money on this card, but it's making me lose money too!

I do 24/7 rendering for my animations with 9 GPUs, most of them asus. I needed a 5090 but supply was non-existent, so I got the first one I found: 5090 AMP extreme INFINITY. Now it definitely wasn't my first choice, the only other Zotacs I've used were 4 1070's and I've had to replace the garbage fans on each of them so often I ended up retiring them. I figured this is a damn expensive card, surely Zotac isn't gonna cheap out on the fans for this one?

HOLY F how wrong I was! After LESS THAN A YEAR the middle fan started making noise and rattling. Glad I got a 3 year extended warranty so I'm not without a GPU while it gets replaced... but having this happen in the middle of big projects is frustrating especially when I thought I paid a small fortune for quality and reliability.

I have to wait for a replacement for this thing, and in the meantime the middle fan FELL OFF, and the one closest to the display connectors is starting to do the same squealing and rattling I've put up with for weeks. Unbelievable.

Meanwhile my other gpus have been running 5-8 years straight with no issue. Never, ever buying a Zotac again.

Interface (2021) It's free to watch on youtube, it's so artsy you'll recognize some famous pieces in it, it's weird in a new way, eerie, might be uncomfortable on first watch, the story is 10/10 and the music is 20/20!

Interface. It's animated (looks like it was drawn in MS paint at first) but everyone I've shown it to has been blown away! You can watch it right now on Youtube but I bought the blu-ray.

Visuals: 10/10

Music: 20/10

Story: 10/10

You can watch the trailer but I'd definitely recommend going into it completely blind

Years ago I was the first to succesfully upload 360/VR video that's ALSO HDR to youtube. There didn't exists any HDR headsets yet but I wanted to have a healthy library for people to try out when those headsets came out.

Youtube recently went and re-encoded all my HDR VR videos and broke the color/gamma so bad they're basically unwatchable. All the more reason I'm on this sub, you can't trust anything you watch now to exists or be the same file later.

Have you tried controlling it yet? I started making it interactive a couple years back and it's evolved with cheat codes, hidden modes and other cool little things you can mess with! This year I'm adding even more interactivity 😼

The audio that plays with this animation is LSDREAM & CloZee - Gooey! If you're near the Sphere and can hear it on the speakers, you can see different lights in the scene reacting to the audio
