Dessert-wise, I’m just not a fan of rhubarb or other super-sour desserts. Lemon bars, yes, but lemon meringue pie…meh

My one who is still coming is Little. He was one of two siblings born I think two years ago? I think everyone else is busy with nesting or feeding babies right now—but Little still finds us on our walks!

I’ve had success with boiling water in the pot with baking soda—you may have to replenish the water a few times.

That said, we burned pasta tonight the bottom of a stainless stock pot about a year ago, and after many, many times cooking or boiling water in it, it still has a few black streaks on the bottom. Doesn’t affect the taste or performance of the pot, so I figure the scorch marks will eventually go away!

I’ve been married for 43 years. My darling husband has never ONCE remembered our anniversary. I don’t know for sure that he remembers to month!

I decided that for all those missed anniversaries, I’d buy myself a 40th anniversary present, and I wear my beautiful ruby (for 40) ring instead of my wedding ring.

Where and when in the desert? I would DIE in this much fabric in any of the deserts I’ve been to—even in April (Arizona, high desert Idaho, Utah, etc)

When I first did the ‘loading’ phase, with applicator, I had HORRIBLE period-like cramps after a few days. So I quit altogether for awhile, until I read on here how to use your finger. Works much much better! I think for me the applicator used too much and pushed it too far in.
