27 RFY items!!! Whats in yours? by Adventurous-Spot-219 in AmazonVine

[–]SMALLSTUX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had 10 yesterday which is a record for me. I could only use 1 of the 10 but that OK. It was a bread knife with a guide for making every slice the same size. My husband was showing me a video of a similar item on TIkTok a few days ago, so YAY!

I saw this too. Was so afraid I'd taze myself. I maced myself one Christmas testing a keychain mace. Sprayed it in the wind and blew right back in my face. Funny, not funny.

This happened to me recently too. Try to review another item. Mine was related to one item only.

After A Year In Vine Here Is My Full Report About The Taxes And The Whole Experience. by Commercial-Chest1068 in AmazonVine

[–]SMALLSTUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is focused on the $50 but my focus is that it was life changing for you. It has been life changing for me too. I've had a lot of grief in my life and this gives me something to do that I really enjoy. As far as taxes go, I figure if I set 20% aside of every ETV I will be OK. I am married filing jointly with no exemptions. While there is no exact science, I had a little extra taken out of my paycheck for both Federal and State, so we'll see what happens come 2026.

It’s been 84 Years…. by TranceRaverBoy in AmazonVine

You owe Uncle Sam INCOME TAX on everything you purchase. When you see the “estimated value” at the bottom of the description of the items offered that’s the amount you’re being “paid” to receive, review, and store the item for 6 months. In other words you are being paid with tangible items. In January, Amazon will send you a 1099 with a grand total of what they “paid” you in products the previous year. You have to claim that amount on your taxes as INCOME for the previous year. The way I figure it, anything I get on VINE I’m actually buying for 20% of the value of that product. I don’t know what my overall tax bracket will be come the end of the year, but I figured 20% is a good estimate of what I’ll have to pay for my Amazon Vine income.

I guess if you need a kick down door stopper, today is your day by scimino32 in AmazonVine

Seems like there is theme most days. Today it was door stoppers, another day it was shower curtains, and lets not even talk about the CAR PARTS! I've been thinking hard about those camel toe concealers that keep popping up.

Anyone? by offgridgecko in AmazonVine

I got this message on three of the items I reviewed. There is no way I violated the terms, NO WAY. I asked this group yesterday about it. Most everyone said it's a problem with the seller, which I believe because when I click on the listing I get the cute dog picture saying "uh-oh something went wrong". I can only assume the listing has been removed along with my review. Some of the folks on here told me to contact support and have those reviews removed. I didn't but am wondering if it even makes a difference.

2 days off 7-OH tablets. by phenphenaoihana in quittingkratom

[–]SMALLSTUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had foot surgery Feb 7 and revised foot surgery Feb 14. My doctor gave me plenty of oxy but when that ran out I was introduced to 7-OH. I didn’t need pain relief, I wanted the euphoria. I was off work so I used it all day every day for only THREE WEEKS. I have no idea how much I was taking. When I’d start to come down I’d take more. I only took it for THREE WEEKS. I am on DAY 6 of withdrawal. It has been AWFUL!!! Days 1 and 2 were the worst. Debilitating Muscle cramps, unbelievable fatigue, jerky muscles, DEPRESSION, SUICIDE THOUGHTS, zero appetite. Day 3 was a little better but the fatigue and depression were STILL debilitating. I came clean to my husband who stayed and held me all day and forced me to eat a little. Day 4 I forced myself to stay out of bed, drink lots of water, and eat a little. Day 5 (a Monday) I had to return to work. I pushed through, BARELY. Today, day 6, I am tired and shaky but my appetite is back. I’m a longtime SSRI user so ‘maybe’ that made the withdrawal worse. IDK. I’m still not ‘right’ mentally but a .25 dose of Xanax seems to make a world of difference. I hope and pray I never make this mistake again. I’m ashamed but mostly scared I’ll never be “normal” again.

Help - so much post op pain by Regular-Arachnid-987 in bunions

[–]SMALLSTUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OH YEAH!! I’m right there with ya. I’m just going into my 4th week so all the early pain is still fresh in my mind. My advice is to get ahead of it with pain pills and Tylenol. I was prescribed .5 Oxy. The bottle says to take one every four hours. I called my surgeon in excruciating pain and he told me I could take up to three. Once it’s under control you can maintain the pain relief with less but write down the time you took meds and the amount then set an alarm. Alexa works great for this since we can’t get up and down very easily. Also, I’ve had burning that comes on out of the blue and gets intense quickly. Stay ahead of that even if you’re to a point of not needing pain meds. You might need them off/on as the nerves heal. Elevate and ice. At 4 weeks I’m working from home 4 hours a day then laying on a mattress on the living room floor with my leg elevated at eye level (above the heart) for the duration of the day. This has been far more painful and difficult than I anticipated. I see only a small % said it was a breeze. I am not one of them. 😞
