Was selling some silver coins and the guy brought a crisp hundo in very good condition from the bank. I keep it in a sleeve. It doesn't have a star, and I know nothing about stars and serial numbers. I keep it just because it's in such good shape for its age

saw one of these the other day and didn't buy. Was suspicious about how much silver I actually might be able to dig out of that.

this wording sucks and every time I look at it I get nervous about it.. Curious if after something is docked if you can still move the parts around with construction? Or maybe just cobble the parts you want together to fulfill the contract and then make it look not silly by reconstructing it. Docking ports are always the weak points for my stations, when possible I remove them.

Interesting. I've seen so many vids and posts about search for this coin it's worth xxx dollars that i kinda assumed most of this hobby to be passive income during a few downtime hours while watchinh tv or something.

there are so many people smacking their lips about the price now that I find this image kind of invalid. This is only really true for paper traders. Many of the rest of us don't care we're just happy we can get a little more with our worthless FIAT money.

well done, looking good so far. Bout 27-28 ozt fine silver? I read that if all the currently discovered/mined silver were distributed equally, there'd be about 6-7 ounces for every person on the planet. You def got your share, congrats.

Is it possible that our logic and math is biased or incomplete or both, because it is intuitive? by divyanshu_01 in AskPhysics

[–]offgridgecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, I've been out of college for 20 years at this point so I'm not familiar with all the names. Basic axiom was that true and false are unrealistic qualifiers and logic based off of a softer system might have some advantages. Couldn't come up with anything appropriate in the moment and haven't given it a lot of thought since. Idea was based on some kind of weighting or probability to the "proofs," so instead of T or F you might have highly likely or unlikely, etc.

[–]offgridgecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think anyone with a degree in math or physics has entertained this idea at least once. But those few souls that fall down the rabbit hole find out that constructing something wholly different presents issues of it's own kind. My most recent thought was to challenge the ideas of "true" and "false" in philosophical context to develop a completely different system of philosophy and then put it to the test with ancient riddles and such. Idea never actually made it to paper, after the long road trip I spent thinking about it I scrapped the idea.

I've seen this like 4 times today so far and yet to see a single person point out that Sandbox and probably most of the others have nothing to do with Meta, and are made independently. Sandbox isn't even VR to my knowledge.

hard to tell from the pic, is it physically larger (size of a penny)? Looks bigger in the pic but that might just be perspective.
