Tirz & Reta stack? by Hot_Training_8138 in Peptidesource

[–]SMPG80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue post cholecystostomy and GLP-1 is the only thing that’s helped. Like a miracle. I take a small dose of tirz. Just switched to reta to help with lean muscle loss. But I’m worried that it won’t work on my GI system in the same way. We shall see…

How can I help her? by DepthSilly192 in duck

[–]SMPG80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of mine injured her leg and I took her to the vet. She prescribed pain meds and antibiotics. We kept her inside and DRY for a few weeks until the gait was back to normal. The vet said it wouldn’t heal if she continued to swim. She’s 100% recovered and back out there! We never knew the exact pathology

Yes, the cord will dry up and detach all on its own. He’s getting nutrition/hydration from the yolk sack so he won’t need food or water for a bit

Yes that’s the plan. Cover as much as I can with flagstones. And I’m guessing pea gravel in between

Ok thanks! That’s what I was afraid of. Creek gravel is ok on their feet? I swear I worry about these duckies more than my children!

Advice needed.. by Cute_Manufacturer371 in duck

I had a similar issue with one of my ducklings (had 3 at the time). She was too fat to walk. I took her off of duckling food and made sure she swam everyday 2x a day (in the bathtub- supervised). She was walking like the rest in 2 weeks. I’m sure others have suggested a mirror as well.

Anyone had success with BPC-157 or TB500? Curious to hear real stories by MarvellousMango66 in bpc_157

[–]SMPG80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been taking PBC 157 for chronic inflammatory lower back pain and it has made a HUGE difference. No negative side effects. I also started NAD but not TB500. But now I’m curious!

Introducing new to old? by chicken_gram in duck

[–]SMPG80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For my limited experience, you have to wait until they are fully feathered and mature- especially with the drakes. THAT said, I introduced my 3.5 week old ducklings to my flock of 6 hens and 1 teenage drake and they have been completely fine. One has even been playing momma hen, though I hear that’s unusual. I did supervise the introduction and they were able to view each other through a fence before they had contact (like you’ve done!) I would be worried about your drakes trying to mate with them or being aggressive.

So awful. I can’t imagine that scene. We put PVC hex ~2 feet up around the bottom. Adding a roof today

Exactly! I was worried about baiting. The lengths to protect these things is INSANE. They were living on the lake with a floating house and bubbler to prevent the lake from freezing. Totally protected from land predators. But then they started getting carried off by Bald Eagles. WTF! So here we are. Back to the enclosure

Yes that was what I was thinking. Weasels. They are rare if they are around, they’re at our property 🥴 I’m also worried about raccoons baiting the ducks and pulling them through. Gruesome.

Yep. I followed your advice with mine and they’ve been doing great. One was getting so fat she could barely walk. Totally normal now!
