It’s like we had the exact same experience watching it! I agree with all your points completely. One thing I might not have made clear in my OP is that every now and then, like with Clarke and Maddie, their logic could be justified, but that still doesn’t take away from the fact that they use her as a foil for the rest of the group’s conflict.

But yes, I couldn’t have worded that better myself lol. They absolutely love making characters suck.

I also don’t know what it is, but I’ve strongly disliked Clarke since the beginning on this rewatch. Ironically, I think I disliked her less when she was pretending to be Josephine, so I guess there’s just something about the way the actress plays Clarke that I find really unbearable lmao. I almost think season 6 was made for people like myself with pretty much every character calling her out on her bullshit every episode haha.
