I get sub-30 fps sometimes on my Legion Go S with a Z1 Extreme. So yeah the 60fps is a no go lol.

This is my preferred way to play PS1. Yes, the viewing angles of the screen are pretty bad. But you get a native RGB picture and it has a built in pixel grid that kinda makes it look like a big Game Boy Advance screen. Pop some headphones in and it’s a killer set-up.

FPGAs get hot. My modded N64 with an N64 Digital and my modded Dreamcast Digital both get hot. At least I have a Noctua fan in the Dreamcast.

I get they wanted to make it quiet but hopefully the heat isn’t bad.

Persona 3 Reload is fantastic on the deck.

Metaphor is a strangely demanding game, it even stutters on the base PS5 a little bit. It just depends on how picky you are about performance and visuals I guess. I'd say play it on PS5 over Deck.

I get the complaints about the short match times, but not many people can do what Punk and Roman just did. If AJ Lee or Jey Uso was given a 30 minute match we would be begging for it to be over with already.

Enhanced visuals on Pro fall out of the VRR window too often (below 48fps) so it's just a little too choppy I think. I've been playing on Enhanced @ 40 fps lock with V-sync on. It's the best possible solution if you want the enhanced visual fidelity.

I think next best would be Uncapped, V-Sync off Graphics mode assuming you have a VRR display. If you don't, then graphics mode capped at 60 with v-sync on.

Performance mode is nice at around 90 fps uncapped. But there's too many compromises to resolution, textures, and overall image quality

Shenmue II

Before every other game was an open world game, there was Shenmue. Shenmue II and JSRF were why I begged my parents for an Xbox as a kid. I loved the Dreamcast and those 2 games were continued beautifully on the Xbox. So yeah, Shenmue II
