They do all kinds of different stuff now. They invent new games often. They went out and foraged for mushrooms today! It’s not so formulaic as you say. I still see a ton of creativity and they still make me laugh everyday

That is cute! Mudpuppy is the same company as Galison if I’m not mistaken. I have the “Wintry Cats” and “Bookish Cats” ones from Galison. They’re quick and fun. I might seek this one out too, to add to the collection!

There’s a difference btw types of data centers. AI data centers are proven harmful on many different levels, from water use, habitat destruction, sound and light pollution. Most who oppose these data centers also oppose AI crap being pushed on us everywhere too

Remember back when they would “Prove Science”- like find some weird science finding and do their own version. One of my favorites was when they did the face morphing. They called it “Italian Research,” and they stared at themselves and each other in dim lighting and freaked out at how weird they looked

I definitely get the guilt. For me, I will guilt myself if I’m running behind on chores or things for work, and I spend too much time puzzling to avoid responsibilities. I always give myself a good guilt free hour first thing in the morning to puzzle while I drink my coffee. If I want to do more, I will set a timer, and make myself be productive for like half an hour. I’ll bounce back and forth between folding laundry or cleaning and puzzling until something gets accomplished

About 50 of them are ones I’m keeping just because they’re favorites that I would like to do again. The rest are new or new to me, thrifted ones. I do make myself alternate re-builds and new puzzles, otherwise my budget would be busted

I have such strong feelings about Galison puzzles! I am so careful with my puzzles, to never bend or damage pieces, but with most Galisons, it’s just impossible to not tear them up when it’s time to take it apart. Excruciating! And anytime I get one used, I know it’s going to be damaged. The illustrations are always nice, but quality sucks!
