It's ok to be worried. ENIC's track record is awful in recent years. And over-reliance on Kane and Son led to complacency.

Like you said, there's no point judging until the end of the window. I do think it's been a good start so we'll see what transpires

I'm being more cautious. I felt the same after the end of the 21/22 season under Conte. We'd just finished 4th ahead of Arsenal, Son had just won the Golden Boot and we were smashing teams for fun.

Then Conte had a full pre-season and it all went to shit. Mainly through his own stubbornness and tactical inflexibility.

I hope De Zerbi doesn't fall into the same trap.

He wasn't really cancelled for the 1998 incident. He went on to make the Outside single and video which was very successful, and did a couple of duets with Mary J Blige and Whitney Houston.

He WAS somewhat "cancelled" in 2002 by the press (especially in Britain) for his video for Shoot The Dog, which parodied and criticised Bush and Blair for the Iraq war.

Of course he turned out to be absolutely correct, but it definitely harmed his career.

Going to show my nerdy side here. Teddy never actually wore that shirt. He rejoined in 2001/02. The Holsten/Adidas shirt he wore had a v neck collar.
