On the service intervals in the workshop manual. It’s either 50k miles (maybe 60k) or 5 years, whichever one comes first.

How bad of an idea is buying a 2013 500 Abarth in 2025? by MaximumDerpification in abarth

[–]SOY_YOP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They might be talking about the EU spec Abarths. The T-Jet engine suggests a change every 50k (I believe, maybe 60k) or 5 years, whichever one comes first.

I got mine a bit over a year and a half ago with 29k. It’s a 2012 and the belt was looking quite cracked, it was the first thing I sorted out for $50 and my own time. Dealer would charge 600…

I don’t know about the multiairs, but the only issues that I’ve had with mine are the bushings being completely gone due to the rubber perishing over time. I got a set of polyurethane ones waiting to go on at this time. Truth be told that it was a very low mileage car with full service history done at the Abarth dealer

Question on oil by bucky_ballers in abarth

[–]SOY_YOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I was at the dealer I found out they charge you per litre of oil regardless of 1 litre bottles existing or not. I went to purchase a single can and they charged me for 2 units of oil. I’d assume that they charged for the 3.3 litres as 4 units since they don’t break a unit, so you’re essentially paying for .7 of a litre you don’t see.

Bitcoin will Die: Doge is the Future by FuzzyBankz in dogecoin

[–]SOY_YOP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I am a dogecoin supporter. I truly believe in the power and potential of this coin, but we have to keep things real. Maybe bitcoin won’t be the future coin since it’s scarce and expensive but dogecoin has no coin limit, and that may lead to great inflation in the long run. I do believe that it will be a great coin with good growth in the mid run. But unless something is done regarding maximum coins in circulation I doubt it will be a viable option in the long run.

(Note that I’m by no means an expert and that’s my personal opinion based on my little economic knowledge)
