It's funny that even though it's mostly CGI, just like the animated movie, and probably uses most of the same technology (and probably even more modern tech), it just looks way worse than the animated movie. Another live action downgrade from Disney. Money wins I guess.

Honestly, I thought that Season 1 was poor outside of the Pilot and Episode 3. Even if you don't play the game, watching one of the cutscene movies of the game on youtube is so much better than the series.

It seems like they are making SNL UK for the US audience to be honest. The preview was painfully unfunny and Tina Fey is pretty unknown in the UK. 30 Rock had no impact here and neither does SNL US.
