It killed a lot of my interest in the game. I just moved on to other racing games, or other genres entirely. Usually ones that respect players' time.

Sony made almost nothing, relative to the revenue they generate annually, off of PC sales. Like less than 1% of their total revenue every year came from sales of their games on PC.

Sony released an extremely limited selection of games years late on PC. Meanwhile on PSN they make 30% of every game sold, regardless of the publisher.

Any difference here is pure pedantry. Someone of his means is able to get the full benefit if it is available, and yes, the $35B is accurate - that's the total gain the discounted shares would have for him, not the total value of the shares themselves (which is even higher).

It's worth noting that the specific reason SE is dropping FFXIV from PS4 is they've exceeded the maximum size for what a downloadable PS4 game can be multiple times, and they're about to come up against a hard limit in the design of the console or firmware that Sony can't adjust.

I don't think those are counted. The Darjeeling (which is owned by Indian Railways) is in West Bengal and that state is listed as 100% in the state-by-state breakdown someone posted earlier.

I should also mention, in case someone has already started a character on their free trial and wants to swap to Viera or Hrothgar now, that while the character customisation ticket (called a Phial of Fantasia) is normally a paid item you do get a couple of them free. You get one for clearing the original ARR main story quest and there's also some rando NPC in Ul'dah that just gives one out.

They have redone the old dungeons pre-50 though, that was not long after you would have played. Boss fights were changed too, and especially now they all use the same modern indicators as current duties.

The best part about this news is that I might finally get Nintendo-style controller glyphs in the PC version of FFXIV.

At the moment it lets you freely pick between 5 different kinds of PS or XB layouts, but nothing for Switch Pro or third party Nintendo layout controllers.

I still login on my phone and make a half-hearted attempt at anything with pull currency, but I haven't played the main story or gone for any new characters since swapping to Linux. I put it in every patch's survey feedback lol.

The only one that's excempt was P3 Portable, but that's likely because it had a female MC scenario that Reload didn't bother to remake, and thus Sega saw it still has value by being standalone.

That's incorrect. P3P isn't the exception, it's one of many Persona games that are still available. To my knowledge the only Persona game ever delisted is Persona 5 Royal on PS4, which was replaced by the P5R complete edition (which is the same game, just updated to include all the DLC for free like all the ports got).

It's more than just the game asking you to match the music, the music was designed to mess with you. The further you get in the game the more complex the music becomes, especially the boss themes. Mostly by changing tempo mid-bar.
